To be concise, I am currently suffering from:

Multiple, ongoing spinal growths causing pain, numbness, and weakness

A brain dura tear, causing frequent CSF leaks

Frequent dislocation of my shoulders, hips, and knees, caused by Elhers-Danlos Syndrome

My major expenses thus far have been

Multiple drainages and resections of the spinal growths

Vertebroplasty of my degenerative spine

Endless imaging, including 3D MRIs, standard MRIs, and CT scans

Physical Therapy every week

And consultation after consultation, after consultation with endless specialists

Not to even mention the relocation costs of moving 2,300 miles across the country to be closer to my surgical team. Even after the much appreciated assistance I have already received, I am still drowning in debt from the initial operations I've had done, and we are looking at having to do even more as my condition becomes more and more complex.

I am working as much as my body physically allows... far more than my doctors would like me to be working, for that matter, and it still barely covers only some of the bills. We are a black gnc lesbian couple living in a metal framed travel trailer for the winter in Michigan and it’s cold.
