Lately I find really hard to draw, I cant find any motivations to do it, my mind just goes blank whenever i try to draw since: how could i post or do something unrelated with this tragedy? Simply i couldn't i felt bad, guilty. But i have to post something so my socials dont die, so i wanted to do something related with venezuela, this was an image that really hit me the first time i saw it so i wanted to give it a little honor drawing it, its bad, ugly but i least i feel can help to do something, KEEP TALKING ABOUT VENEZUELA

Alex Serna sabía el riesgo que corría. Lo denunció públicamente desde marzo. Pidió ayuda. Advirtió que estaba siendo amenazado. Nadie lo protegió.

El 20 de junio publicó la que sería su última investigación. Con documentos obtenidos mediante solicitudes de transparencia, denunció que Sunsets Tropicales de México, S.A. de C.V. presuntamente operaba desde 2017 sin permisos ambientales federales, sin autorización de impacto ambiental y sin concesión de agua. También señaló que la empresa se presentaba como empacadora para evadir obligaciones ambientales y documentó el crecimiento inmobiliario, cambios irregulares de uso de suelo y el presunto favorecimiento de intereses privados por parte de autoridades municipales.

Horas después de esa publicación, Alex desapareció.

Durante casi dos semanas, su familia, amigos y miles de personas exigieron su búsqueda. Finalmente, la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Guerrero confirmó que Alex fue localizado sin vida. La Fiscalía mantiene abierta la investigación y hasta ahora no ha informado oficialmente quiénes son los responsables ni el móvil del crimen.

Alex Serna no solo era un periodista y creador de contenido. Era una voz incómoda para quienes destruyen el territorio, saquean el agua y creen que el poder puede imponerse sobre el derecho de las comunidades a vivir en un ambiente sano.

Su asesinato no puede convertirse en otra estadística ni en otro número ni en otro activista menos, nada mas.
