EMERGENCY MEETING
So Sloy fucked up, right? Sloy is sludging through a horrid time in his life, and needs to be put down like a dog. BUT! You can help him(me)! Tune into twitch.tv/sloyxp on June 13th at Noon EDT and partake in the most delicious of Donothons! Help this moron gather up the 2000 bucks he needs to keep living, and bare witness to him struggling for what might be an entire week of Skyrim, Tomodachi Living the Dream, community Jackbox an other silly things!
goals, redeems and other such stuff to be announced a bit later (once I make the graphics for them lol)
Markiplier Fanfic Undertale Stream (crying on camera) Frogwitch Pilot chapter were all added to the donation goals
things in fic I'm used to people kind of faking their way through writing about:
the city of los angeles
the city of new york
sex
how drinking alcohol works
how getting high works
how a child of any age speaks
how nuclear physics work
how [my job] works
how debilitating being shot in the shoulder is
how hypothermia works
things I have never before seen someone fake their way through writing about, until today:
what french toast is
read through the notes on this one trust me
Here's some of the notes, starting with the things multiple people brought up:
SHRIMP COCKTAIL:
banahbanah: #flashback to that one fic where Peter Parker frets about drinking shrimp cocktail because of the alcohol
generaldeliciousness: adding: what a prawn/shrimp cocktail is
#why is your character turning it down because they're under 21 #do you think prawn cocktail is a cocktail #this lives in my brain rent-free constantly #the rest of the fic was so normal #and good enough that i'll still re-read it #but bro
And then many, MANY, people wondering if this was actually authour mistake, since Peter really would do this!
POMEGRANATES:
zhajhassa: #haha where's that post that was like someone describing someone eating a pomegranate but they ate it like an apple
thornhands: #once someone wrote persephone biting into a whole Pomegranate #had to stop and stare at a wall for a minute
sungsingsanguine: I once saw someone very confidently write about a character eating slices of pomegranate.
FRUIT TREES:
zagreuses-toast: #given a very endearing glimpse into a writers blindspots by seeing them describe someone sitting under a ''pineapple tree''
salatrash: I remember something about picking watermelons... OF A FUCKING TREE
baander: #cranberry trees
DOUGH/BATTER:
maycelium: #I'm a chef so I'm really used to people not accurately describing how to cook food #But I was surprisingly flabbergasted when someone was writing making a cake and was kneading it. Which uh #Not necessary for cake. It was interesting for sure but just bizarre
livebloggingmydescentintomadness: #the one that drove me nuts was when a character set aside a batch of PASTA DOUGH 'to rise' #pasta doesn't have yeast!! #it does need to REST but it will never RISE #you do not want an airy crumb on your noodles
lovesodeepandwideandwell: #THE ONE WHERE THEY MADE COOKIES BY LADLING BATTER INTO A TRAY
Some other topics:
In 2026, the chicest thing a gay actor can do is never explicitly come out as gay but also make it abundantly clear that he is. Coming out is too modern. Staying closeted is too old fashioned. But this method merges contemporary freedom with Old Hollywood glamour and allure, and it weeds out the dumbest people who truly don’t get it. I call it the Pascal Method.
Taylor Swift does this
no she doesn’t
You clearly don't go here or to queer history and signaling, or both, enough to have this conversation and I'm not going to explain it to you. You could have asked questions, you could have done even a modicum of research. You didn't and you made yourself look ignorant. Goodbye.
#I'm fucking crying#this is an instant classic#this is the next meme#i can't believe I'm here to see a baby copypasta nary two hours old#I can't#lol#i laughed way too hard#iconic
i went to queer history and signaling and i didnt see taylor swift
The funniest thing to me is that Taylor Swift strikes me as one of those few straight women who actually sound like they're genuinely horny for men
Like many of them talk like they lowkey hate all their partners or are all cramped up or defensive re: sex - probably due to a mix of repressive purity culture expectations of women & bad experiences with creeps spoiling the fun of sexuality for many.
Mreanwhile TS has so many songs that are like "I know i shouldn't cheat / this dude is bad news but hes so tall and sexy tho..." Like she wants men so badly it short circuits her brain sometimes.

It really feels like the adults are sharing a table with the chaotic teenagers. The genre conflict is real, hilarious, and soooo painful. Someone shut up half this table.
Source
These dudes are fucking legit. They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back. And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”
The source is long, but so, so good. These men and women are available in 36 states, 24 hours a day to stand guard at home, in court, at school, even if the child has a nightmare. Many of them are survivors of childhood abuse as well, and know what it’s like to feel scared and alone.
In court that day, the judge asked the boy, “Are you afraid?” No, the boy said.
Pipes says the judge seemed surprised, and asked, “Why not?”
The boy glanced at Pipes and the other bikers sitting in the front row, two more standing on each side of the courtroom door, and told the judge, “Because my friends are scarier than he is.”
Actual tears.. hnngh
Show me more of people like this, world. I give up on humans too easily.
where do i sign up for this,i want to be in this gang
This is fucking amazing. It may be out of character for me to say this but rock on
Bikers Against Child Abuse was founded in 1995 by a Native American child psychologist whose ride name is Chief, when he came across a young boy who had been subjected to extreme abuse and was too afraid to leave his house. He called the boy to reach out to him, but the only thing that seemed to interest the child was Chief’s bike. Soon, some 20 bikers went to the boy’s neighborhood and were able to draw him out of his house for the first time in weeks.
Chief’s thesis was that a child who has been abused by an adult can benefit psychologically from the presence of even more intimidating adults that they know are on their side. “When we tell a child they don’t have to be afraid, they believe us,” Arizona biker Pipes told azcentral.com. “When we tell them we will be there for them, they believe us.” ( Article)
More about BACA, from their site
My parents are a part of this organization and they are metal af
They go on runs to protect the child if they feel even the slightest threatened no matter where. If the child needs them to go on vacation with them, they do. Bikers come from across the nation to watch over and take shifts for these kids. And the best part is once you’re adopted into this family as a BACA kid, you’re always one. Even when you’re 40 and the perp gets released from jail, they’ll come meet with you and find your best options for avoiding the person and maintaining the life you’ve built for yourself. Once a BACA child, always a BACA child. In Florida, there’s 100% rate for identifying the perp based on the child’s testimony. Why? Because BACA stands with the child and supports the child so they feel comfortable enough to point out their attacker.
What’s better than a badass biker gang being on your side???
NATIVE AMERICAN CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST WHO IS A BIKER AND NAMED HIMSELF CHIEF HELL YES I’M HERE FOR THAT AND BIKERS BEING BAD ASS TO PROTECT KIDS. HELL YEAH.
it’s back! I will always reblog BACA
Damn good people.
I know they wouldn’t consider themselves such, but these people are freaking heroes and the world is a better place because of them.
Hey folks, it talks about this in the article but its not mentioned in this post, BACA is a 501 © (3) charity that depends in part on donations to help pay for stuff like gas for their bikes. If you want to help, consider donating.
@copperbadge You like posting about heroes, Sam. Seems like this would be up your alley.
I love these folks! I’ve reblogged them before but it’s wonderful to see the donation information has been added.
Always reblog. Keep doing what you’re doing y'all.
Guys? This post changed my life. I saw this post. Forever ago. And thought it was only in america… and wished desperately that they could help me. But then I saw it again, during a bad episode, and checked their site. They aren’t just in the USA
They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs.
I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers. So I can call them whenever I feel scared.
BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused.
And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy.
BACA has changed my fucking life.
I hope you all can read this, and reblog it knowing from someone who fucking been with them, that they are absolutely amazing.
If I ever don’t reblog this, it’s because I am physically being restrained against my will.
Supporting your local hero’s.
FUCKEN AMAZING what these Bikers do!!!! This is why I don’t give up on humanity…

B.A.C.A’s Byline: “Keepers of the Children.” B.A.C.A.’s Motto: “No child deserves to live in fear.”
Not all heroes wear capes, some wear biker vests.
Had seen this before, but never realised that this is on an international level - there’s even a contact address close to where I live (in Germany), very cool (though hoping the only use I’ll ever have to make of it is for donations) ❤
That’s a lot of countries.
A spaceship entered Earth's orbit and broadcast a message:
"We are the Interstellar Library. Do you want to swap? We have thousands of stories."
There were many replies.
The library was silent for a whole day, then:
"What do you mean, 'We have millions'?"
"Ah, sorry, I think I misspoke; we have millions in just one of our more widely known languages. Take everything together and I wouldn't be surprised if we have billions."
True story:
Around the time I was in college, as a human being who couldn't walk, who was also friends with humans who couldn't see, and friends who couldn't hear, I was getting sick and tired of all the pop science shows on TV that kept linking our evolution into human beings to our ability to walk upright, our ability to distinguish ripe fruit from unripe fruit using our color vision, and our ability to speak and learn language by hearing it.
So I decided to look around and watch all the animals I saw around campus -- humans included -- and just watch what they did. Granted, most of the nonhuman animals large enough for me to watch casually around campus were birds. But I also thought back to all the other animals I'd seen doing things.
And I realized that humans were the only animal I could think of, and remember ever having observed. who engaged in one very strange (truly bizarre, if you think about it) behavior:
We're the only animal to gather in large groups, Fall Into a Trance-like State, and Focus All of Our Conscious Mental Energy on One or A Few Community Members, Who Do All of the Talking.
Sometimes, this trance-like state is so deep, we lose awareness of our immediate surroundings. Sometimes, for hours at a time.
In other words, humans are the only animal* that engages in The Storytelling Ritual.
And moreover, the roles of Storyteller and Story Audience are not fixed to any caste or life stage (like the different roles in an ant colony or beehive), but can, and do, frequently switch.
Human children, even before their old enough to form complex sentences, start telling simple stories. And the grownups worth their salt encourage them.
Storytelling is our uniquely honed, highly evolved, most universal, human trait.
Storytelling for hours where you lose your sense of time and self is really unique to humans as we know.
Something that is similar to me is bees dancing to communicate to the rest of the hive.
*nod, nod*
I think of it as the audience surrendering their consciousness to the storyteller for safekeeping, for a set period of time (which is why we feel so betrayed when the story cheats its ending *cough*Game of Thrones*cough*). It's like handing your wallet over to someone for safekeeping. If the storyteller's good, you'll find extra bills inside, when they hand it back to you. :-)
Bees, and prairie dogs, chickens, and certain monkeys, all use language to share information. Humans use language to share imagination -- not only what is, but what could be (either as an aspiration or a warning). And what makes each language unique and beautiful (and so much more complex, as far as we can tell, from other animals' languages) -- its idioms, rhymes, rhythms, and metaphors -- are all tools the storyteller uses to hold the audience's attention, and make a story more memorable and sharable.
No individual human can survive without a community. Stories, both fact and fiction, are the strongest glue for keeping that community together.
Also, if you want an excellent story of aliens trying to understand humans and their stories, you really should watch the movie Galaxy Quest.
You are 60% water and every lake, river, pond, swamp, creek, and ocean you encounter wants to reclaim it desperately. Be careful out there.
Good, I hope it haunts everyone about to enter a body of water so bad that they wear a life jacket. 🙌
Every single person I knew (past tense) who has drowned was "a strong swimmer." Water in the wild does not care how good you are at swimming.
I mean this with all due respect:
You are not going to pass a skillcheck against a rip current once it has you.
Waves will not bow to your physical prowess no matter how impressive.
Shock does not care that you used to be on your school swim team.
If you hit your head, being good at swimming isn't going to turn you face-up while you're unconscious.
You may be unable to return to shore. Rescue may be unable to find you quickly.
Scheduling this for when weather starts warming up. Be careful swimming this summer

Current twitter drama is Europeans confidently declaring that they don't need to drive or use overpriced public transport to get to the MetLife stadium for the World Cup; they will simply walk down the highway to get there. Girl it's New Jersey. They're gonna splatter you for fun.
I think a lot of Europeans think that the stadium is in the middle of a city and surrounded by infrastructure, which is why they keep insisting that they can just walk from point A to point B. It's not! It's in the fucking Meadowlands!!!! You have multi lane highways and a literal toxic swamp and that's it!
"Well if there are a LOT of football fans they'll stop for us!"
There's a video online of a trucker who accidentally hits a flock of sheep in the middle of the highway at full speed and splatters them. Has to turn the windshield wipers on to wipe away the blood. This is what every Jersey driver yearns to do once they get on the turnpike.
girl help they're now demanding NJ build a bridge over the highway (???? from where???) or shut down the fucking I-95 (one of the busiest highways in the country that everyone commutes on) for their little soccer game.
I live close enough to the Meadowlands to regularly curse the hubris of the American Dream mall and this is the funniest shit I have read in YEARS. A lot of the European twitter people seem to think we are DEFENDING the Meadowlands and the general layout of the area like we think it was good urban planning. Girl no! It is a shithole, we know it is a shithole! (Although the actual swamp is kinda pretty from the window of a train heading to Secaucus Junction.) We are not trying to express pride, we are trying to save your life!!!!
I MEAN. I know people talk a lot of shit about American arrogance and they're not wrong to do so, but look at this, my fucking god.
._. Let them perish
Whats funny is they think ppl are defending the infrastructure. Like...no bitch we know it's ass. We are telling you it LITERALLY can't be done
Right like, no no. We KNOW it is horrible. We KNOW it should not exist like that. MetLife stadium shouldn't have been built in a swamp like that. Everything about its existence is bullshit. This is probably the WORST stadium to try and get to, considering that it is illegal to try and walk there.
FIFA has also intentionally MADE it worse. Because they're closing the parking lot. They're also preventing ride shares from what I can tell??
Meanwhile the governor of New Jersey is saying this is going to cost NJ $48 million to deal with the ridership, and wanted money to offset that, which FIFA doesn't ever do. So they decided to massively inflate train fares to offset the cost.
Again, while trying to prevent rideshare services from occurring.
Oh, ALSO people in New Jersey and New York City are all being told to "work from home" on days of the world cup matches because the public transit congestion is expected to be that bad, coincides with rush hour, and because for some of it, they're full closing off public transit to anyone who doesn't have FIFA tickets.
And then there are people complaining about our "shitty national stadium" and I don't even know how to begin to explain that MetLife isn't even the biggest capacity stadium in the US. It's not even in the top ten. (It is #15).
I genuinely do hope everyone is just being a bit of a troll when they say they're going to walk on the 95 or some shit because people will 1000% die. I don't even know what a comparable metaphor for this is.
But you cannot just shut this road down:
Walking and biking on the freeway are also both illegal and if you break laws in the US right now as a non-citizen (or even a non-white citizen), you have two years of news reports telling you exactly how badly that's gonna go.
Do not try to walk to MetLife. If you don't get hit and splattered by a semi, with our fucking government, you may wish you had.
As someone who has been to MetLife Stadium for both concerts and sporting events frequently in the last 5 years, can confirm it is in the shittiest location ever. Not only that, but even driving there from NY is a fucking nightmare cuz there’s genuinely only like 1 or 2 exits off I-95 to get there and they are 1. Single lane only, 2. Extremely narrow, and 3. Have a really sharp curve that makes you have to slow down to a crawl coming off the interstate where you and everyone else are doing, at most in the right lane, 75 mph. And shutting down the parking lots and banning rideshares for FIFA sounds extremely counterproductive????? Like they’re obviously trying to prevent drunk driving, drunk and disorderly conduct, etc. buuuuuut this ain’t the way to do that…..
Also I-95 between NY and NJ spits into like 7 or 8 lanes at some point before and after the bridge where NO ONE ever knows exactly what lane they need to be in to get where they’re going, so if you’re trying to WALK there, you’re absolutely going to be hit by someone not paying even the slightest bit of attention because they’re too busy trying to figure out what fucking lane they need to be in. Walking to MetLife from NYC or Jersey City is a death wish. Holding the World Cup at MetLife is the STUPIDEST decision ever. And this isn’t even touching on the fact that the MetLife turf is cursed which, as a Giants fan, I can go on and on about………good luck to everyone going tho I guess!
Yes the idea of walking to the stadium is hilarious and the whole World Cup thing will be miserable for all involved BUT I have to speak up for my beloved Meadowlands by which I mean the ACTUAL MARSHLANDS which are an amazing ecosystem of a tidal salt marsh plus two rivers meeting and it’s a UNIQUE ecology with birds and fish and it CLEANS ITSELF ALL THE TIME so despite the decades of shit and chemicals and concrete and old marble from the old Penn Station (this is true) it lives and thrives around the edges of what this state allows it to do.
Another bee in my bonnet is how then-Gov Christie back in 2015 signed a law folding the standalone state agency protecting the Meadowlands into the state EXPOSITION AND SPORTING AUTHORITY which means, that’s right, NJ’s unique marshlands is in fact governed by the assholes who built a bunch of stadia in A MARSH. I hate Christie so much forever amen
Anyway I love the Meadowlands and one day on my commute (where I pass through the teeniest corner) I saw a heron, an egret, AND a turtle!!!!

Okay, this is fantastic. Do you need to know anything about Jeeves and Wooster? No, you do not. Because the vid tells you everything you need to know. And also turns you feral about it within the space of a single song or single slightly slowed-down clip yes I saw that oh my god.
This brought tears to my conservationist heart today.
The continued existence of these species is the legacy of so many people whose names we will never know--some of who never lived to see the impacts of their work.
When you count up the flaws of our species, you have to count the good things too--out of the many species throughout Earth's history that have caused the demise or endangerment of other species, we are the only one that tries to fix it out of our fascination and love for other life forms.
(Big thank you to the anonymous asker who sent this in!)
Earth Day reblog of this thing that made me cry.
And I'll add some other recent good conservation news.
•Green sea turtles are no longer endangered
•Giant pandas are no longer endangered
•Panamanian golden frogs were returned to the wild for the first time since they were wiped out by chytrid 17 years ago
•The Eastern humpback whale population has exceeded pre-whaling numbers and many other whale species are showing strong signs of recovery
•Salmon and bison have been returned to their former habitat in multiple parts of the US through dam removal, habitat restoration, and reintroduction
•The Western monarch migration was up 60% compared to last year
•Galapagos tortoises were reintroduced to Floreana for the first time in 180 years
•Attenborough's long beaked echidna was rediscovered after being though extinct for decades
•Five "lost" island bird species were documented by citizen scientist birders in 2025
Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
do you want to play tomodachi life but don't have a switch, $60, or just don't want to pay nintendo $60?
here's an all-in-one site where you can download everything you need to emulate it!
Floralith beta — downloads and setup.
also, with an emulator, you can directly screenshot and record your game, and even mod it! add custom hair parts! import photos directly! remove region locks! emulate it!!
everything?
everything! this site will walk you through downloading the ryujinx switch emulator, the firmware and keys needed, and the nsp game file for tomodachi life ltd.
is this safe?
the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by PotentialAd943 on reddit, who claims they scanned their files clean before hosting. just to be sure, i scanned my pc after downloading too. it all came up clean! but it's good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can't hurt to do a scan of your own to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
venipede plush! its a venipede plush!
you can make your very own lil goober using the pattern ive put together below! everything is hopefully labelled to be helpful to some degree...
for personal use only please :]
(when printed at 8 1/2" x 11", the finished plush is about 8" x 5".)
ill also include the embroidery files i made up to go along with the pattern if you have an embroidery machine! (note that the embroidery files are in a .pes format)

Yay, I finished episode 22! That was a wild ride!
I think, this table, of all the tables, benefits the most from there being only 4 people. Because they need the extra space. Liam is fidgety and doesn't sit still well (he's always changing how he's sitting), we all know how Marisha flails (and probably can't see the whole map unless she's standing), and Luis apparently can't sit still during combat, like, at all (partly, I think he seems to be not a real tall guy and maybe also can't see the whole map unless he's standing up, but partly because he's just a little hyper. A bit.). Taliesen is less fidgety, but still probably appreciates having the elbow room.
Oh, Hal. Poor guy. This is not the life he meant to have. I doubt he could feel his own feet the whole time they were fighting. And then later with Bolaire- ooof. He needs to cash in that IOU with Azune Real Soon Now. Broke my heart when he plastered his own mask back on there at the end.
I have to admit, I am way less concerned about these folks in combat now. Holy Shit. I mean, I wasn't too concerned about Azune in combat (I saw that 20 AC, for one, and for another, he's probably got twice as much experience as anyone else there), and I wasn't all that concerned about Bolaire, because, well, Bolaire, but I was extremely concerned about Hal and Murray. Hal for the reasons we saw- I figured he'd not handle things too well. And Murray is squishy. But they did great! Very creative, very smart.
Azune in combat was probably the most comfortable he's been this whole time. He was getting jittery again at the Seven Stars, with refusing to calm down enough to eat more than a few bites of his dinner and have a short rest, and I don't think he was feeling super great for multiple reasons after their field trip to spring Misha, but drop him in a sewer with some Crow Keepers? Yeah, those nerves just evaporated, didn't they? At least until they were done and he was in a dark sewer and couldn't see too well and was just feeling confused and out of sorts again.
Speaking of which, Azune, love, Hal's been trying to give you that same care for over a decade and you just won't let him most of the time. Because you don't think you've earned it and you don't think you have anything to give in return.
I am really glad Murray had that conversation with Azune. She needed that. He needed that. Help Murray. Help Azune. Yes.
And at the same time, my heart breaks to think that Murray thinks so little of herself. She's not a shit person! I mean, I think I know why she thinks that, but oh my God, no! We've talked a bunch about getting Azune a sense of self worth, but I'm thinking we need to get Murray some of that as well. (this may be why they are friends. They get each other).
I feel about the Hal and Bolaire...conversation...murder...scene? the way Marisha and Luis's faces looked during that scene. Very big eyes and open mouthed. That was kinda intense. And necessary, but also not exactly what Hal needed right about then...
Sorry for hijacking the post, but- thought.
Few people would make a better willing host body for Bolaire than a dissociative actor. Someone able to bend to fit any need or personality that Bolaire wants, with so little will that they can't stop Bolaire from getting what he wants.
It makes me wonder about Hal's theater and his first performance: the perfect actor, the perfect mask, the perfect sword (thank you arcanade pariah blade), the perfect play, the perfect place. I don't think Thiajzi ever meant it as such, but he really set up the dominoes to make Hal the perfect sacrifice for the perfect ritual, huh?
this tiktok screenshot ruined my life i need to see the serbian pigeon movie so so badly but it doesn't exist it's so foul to make this bad of a point with something so cool and then take it away from me.
Tiktok marvel fans really will be out here like "movie fan SHOCKED because i'd rather watch superhero movie #54 in blue and not a sensual 1987 french horror film about a man discovering his wife may not exist set in what is gradually revealed to be a space station" as if you're supposed to agree that superhero movie #54 is the clear winner in this comparison
Love the idea of a story about a complex issue that's told from the perspective of something that cannot comprehend or care about the issue. The way the story would be sliced up and moments that a human would consider pointless would be focused on because the pigeon happened to be there would be hype as fuck
Ok FINE I made the movie poster of it
Mališa, otherwise known as Little One, is a pet pigeon owned by a conservative butler of the Austro-Hungarian aristocracy. She is loved, and she is pampered— until her owner is murdered in cold blood, and she is left to fend for herself in Sarajevo.
In the wilds of the city, she feeds from the poor, working nationalist radicals, and the vieux riches alike.
To Mališa, there are no ethical concerns. No politics. No burgeoning nationalism.
There are only hands that feed her, and hands that do not.
This is compelling. Consider me fucking compelled.
Final shot is the bird hearing, but not seeing, the sound of a .32 ACP pistol, and flying away in shock
"From the studio that brought you Goncharov...."
yeah okay ill reblog that
”there are only the hands that feed her, and those that do not” yeah-
