It's like our brains are locked in their own reality, even though the world is right in front of us, we may never access it completely, there are colors we will never see, noises we will never hear and ideas we will never grasp due to our natural limitations.

One of the "problems" of getting too much into philosophy, sociology, anthropology, psychology and other fields that question the structures of the human condition itself is the fact you start to notice that much of what society believes and proposes are illusions, even things that felt unavoidable or unchangeable start to collapse after a certain point, there is no comeback. That's why isolation start to become an unavoidable thing for many writers and thinkers, not because they think they are superior or that they are scared or suspicious of society, but because much of what constitutes society are mere hallucinations.
One of the few great instrumental classics from the last decades, even though it is already kind of old (released in 2012), it's still newer than basically all the other instrumental/easy tempo classics. In terms of the sound itself, it has a certain melancholic twist, it makes me think about someone who is lost about a certain issue, it makes me think about a character who is stuck at a certain issue and has no clue about what he should do, so it has a certain existential twist as well, because it brings this feeling of "stuck in life". Anyway it is impressive how specific music can be, even without a single word being said, that's why I love instrumental music, because when you listen to it in a certain way, it makes you think, it makes you reflect, it challenges you to imagine, the answer isn't there easy to be found as we experience in music with lyrics.

Introduction
From now on, I will try to share longer texts here as well. The first is this one I found on Substack, it's a really interesting sort of guide about how to relearn to enjoy reading, it's the best text on this subject I have ever seen, if you are looking for a helpful guide to regain your passion for reading, I seriously recommend this text.
Such a brilliant little kid, when I see children like this, I feel hopeful about the future, maybe we are going to witness a new wave of brilliant minds.

When I look at some of the current "intellectual people" and see how limited, shallow, performative and insincere they are. I don't feel hatred or frustration, instead I feel pity, pity because it feels like the current society turned self-lying into a default practice, genuineness, depth and complexity are not about performing to others, because when you find something that's indeed genuine, profound or complex, you don't need audience to confirm its impact, because the discovery itself already rewards you, the discovery itself sustains its weight.
This gives me 60's vibes, it feels like I am walking around on some city's downtown on a beautiful day, the sky is clean blue, the streets are colorful with people wearing the typical colorful 60's fashion, the cars are colorful and there is just a certain optimism in the air. This song feels like happiness, feels like dreams, feels like achievements.

“ A very small ego leads to passivity, because you already believe in your failure, a very large ego will also lead to passivity, because you believe you are already at the finish line, or to pseudo-activity, because you believe your path is the correct one, without self-questioning, the adequate amount of ego should be the one which moves you without impairing your self-judgment, the one which proves that failing and succeeding are equally part of the process. ”

This is such a fascinating and inspiring story, I would love to write an article or essay about it one day, Kanzi was indeed an extraordinary animal, there is so much to learn on so many levels from this story.

I don't know if it is just me, but I have noticed nearly everywhere it's always the same pattern, when I try to debate a complex a topic, specially when related to sensitive themes, it's always about who will win and who will lose, even if it requires anger, insulting, lying, defaming and attacking, it's almost always about who is better, who has the highest knowledge or moral code, I miss the deeper debates which are not about who will win or lose, but what can we learn from it, what we can build together through our ideas, how far can we go, where do we agree and where do we disagree, and how can we change it, I miss the rich debates where we can enrich our minds and rethink our views about life, faith, science and art, I miss the debates which could make us feel changed and improved even after proven wrong, because what mattered the most was not the winner or loser, but the process itself, the ideas flowing, combining, dissecting, building and rebuilding. Nowadays, nearly everywhere, debates feel more like battles of egos than two thinkers exploring the uncountable possibilities in the world of ideas. I believe the exercise of questioning someone within a conversation should stimulate instead of attack, something like "where do you want to go with it?" or "develop it more", questioning should be an invitation to more reflection in hope of reaching something relevant and genuine, like two or more individuals trying to build something meaningful. In short, cooperative discussions are more productive than competitive ones, because they focus in exploration of ideas instead of ego clashes, it seems like the obsession with competition hinders genuine exchange and generation of knowledge.
Mac is one of the few current artists who is capable of triggering that specific atmospheric and ethereal vibe many 80's artists had, specially in certain songs like this one, this is indeed an indie classic.
