i truly do think that most people if confronted with it and pressed on it would agree. but it's comfortable to gain privileges from someone else's suffering, especially if you don't have to see that suffering directly.

Also trans people aren't marginalized. No marginalized group demands "protections" or "rights" that would harm women and homosexuals. This is very clearly a privileged group who is using misogyny and homophobia for their own gains. I’ve also noticed males like to play up the danger in these jobs in order to inflate their importance. Don’t get me wrong, I know some of these jobs are dangerous. But when you take creatures that are constantly and consistently dangers to themselves and others and put them in charge of jobs that are even slightly dangerous, those jobs become even more dangerous. Work a dangerous job with a male as a coworker and your chances of workplace accidents that end in serious injury or death skyrocket.
