I saw someone saying that at her grandfathers funeral, everyone talked about his hobbies and his quirky personality and sense of humour but and her grandmothers funeral, everyone talked about how she was an amazing mother and wife and good at cooking and hosting. it’s so sad how women are largely remembered for how they served and cared for others rather than who they actually were as a person

I was watching a movie with my mother one time, and they were talking about a dead woman and how they remembered her because of the food she made for them, and I made an irritated, quippy comment about it, and my mother just said that she would like to be remembered as such. So many women just do not have dignity.

i didnt think it was particularly good. the pros are the fact that neither her nor the other female character are sexualised in any way, and the lead actor is generally a likeable presence. the cons are that the writing just doesnt measure up; the supporting actors’ performances are quite one note, and i found the visuals lacking. also the fights scenes are kinda shit, but the music was great! hope that helps.

Yeah it’s a very mid film. Like a five. The villain was bad too like you didn’t hate nor like him bc he was just a nothing character. The lighting also made a lot of scenes hard to see what was going on
