people seem to not realize this but saying things like “our indigenous people” oh we need to protect our indigenous people oh we love our indigenous people is not a good way to make indigenous people feel included it actually feels fucking weird. we don’t belong to anyone just because we live within borders you put there. we are actually our own people, the same people as our brothers and sisters who happened to live on the other side of the border in a neighboring country lol
