How do you scan your drawings? Every time I try to transfer any of my drawings from the physical world to the digital one, it ends up looking horrible

I do a bit of editing afterwards to make it more presentable. Usually just reducing brightness and adding a bit of contrast (-/+20% of either) does the trick. You can do that in most photo editing software.

I really wanna make some fanart of that cool knight outfit you drew, was curious about the colours though!

Down by what seems like a codpiece thingy and on the sleeves, are those different intensities of red separated from the rest of the fabric? On the sleeves it seems like a layer above the rest of the sleeve, but down by the trousers it's a bit harder to tell whether it's the same material for both or a different piece of clothing. Just wanna make sure I do the outfit justice.

P.S. you should work traditionally more, this and the thingy with the fencers look like something straight out of a book!

Yeah the codpiece is a separate flap going over the pants. (Forgot some crucial lineart there.) The outfit is made from layers of slashed colorful fabric over biege linen. (A bit crude looking at the shoulders, I was drawing from memory.)
