First of all I wanted to thank for producing art, I absolutely love your style. It might not be much but I've been learning a lot from your drawings and it made me curious about one thing.

Who were the artists that pushed you from the start and ended up serving as a base for your art today? Do you still have them as favourites?

Sadly, my memory fails me and i genuinely dont remember my earliest inspirations. And I have a hard time pinning them down anyway as they are a mixed bag of pretty much everything that left any kind of impression on me.

Luckly the one thing that's probably keeping half of the country from stumbling on my art whenever they look up a stove is the fact that the proper spelling of the appliance is "Štedilnik" (shte-deel-nick, like the sh in sheep).

I dissociate and bruteforce scribble till it hits just right. Results depend on my mood and level of inspiration. Too rough, it looks like ass, too overdone, it looks stiff and lifeless.

I regularly get frustrated and scrap a days worth of work because it lost the sauce somewhere along the way. I regularly forget to take breaks and use references/proper workflow because im stubborn.

Honestly, not the best way to go about it. I am trying to go about it better (concious use of construction and perspective, more thougtful strokes) but i keep slipping into old habits (rawdog scribbling).

I don't really post that much often anyway so you aren't missing out on much. Im still active here or on bsky.
