Slug Slapdash (Emily) - Orc, Path of the Experiment Barbarian - Slug Slapdash could not be more different than that droid. Slug is an adrenaline junkie, a speed freak. She's ripped to the tits, juiced to the gills. She's a cybernetically enhanced orc, a.... cyb-orc, if you like puns. And if you don't like 'em, you can kick rocks! I'm wearing roller blades, I got a fanny pack of loose syringes, I got a goalie mask with the cage up, I got a deviated septum from a broken nose that didn't heal right, and I'm blowin bubble gum through the tooth I'm missin'

Atom Rom (Caldwell) - Robot, Spellslinger (Gunslinger subclass from Valda's Spire of Secrets) - Hello, my name is Atom Rom, I am a small boxy robot made from an ATM machine and several salvaged gnomish automaton parts. My life began as a simple coin exchange machine, but then my creator Elmer upgraded me so that I could better defend myself against thieves and vandals. Due to my appearance, I serve as the Killscreen scout and spy, since I am able to easily hide amongst other robots and appliances. My face is not very expressive, but I make up for that by wearing extremely loud hawaiian shirts. My favorite is one featuring tigers riding in sports cars and smoking big cigarettes. I run the prize counter at Killscreen Arcade. My most prominent item that I have secured for the arcade is a glass AK-47 filled with bubblegum.

Aux O'Connor (Jake) - Fox, Battlesmith Artificer* - The first thing you're gonna notice is that he's a fox. He's an actual fox. So he stands on two feet, he's tall and angular, with orange fur, and a white patch around his mouth. He's got pointy fox ears with black fur at the edges, and he wears kind of like this tech jumpsuit that's hand made but close fitting, almost like a formula 1 car all around his body. As a battlesmith I also have a steel defender which I named Rova, basically looks like a Yeti with two tank treads. And as I'm watching this I put down a telescoping helm with just a thin black slit in front of the eyes, I pound on the side, and digital eyes blink and open up as I'm watching.

Less than four months left!! I'm SUPER excited to talk about the two exclusive editions available at BAM & B&N-- I think we'll get to reveal them within a week-ish! But in the meantime:

There is an easy excuse in real life! You may not be able to get both a pacemaker and a DBS device because they're both pieces of sensitive equipment that could theoretically interfere with each other, and nobody engineered them not to. Trivially you can extrapolate this to all cybernetics. If your various augs weren't Specifically designed not to mess with each other (and of course the various megacorps might take things a step further, making their shit actively hostile to mix-and-matching), you might have problems; and obviously, the more pieces of hardware you've patchworked yourself with, the worse things get. You'd have to be one real crazy motherfucker to tell a back-alley doctor to load you up with whatever they've got.
