awww the like button turns into a rainbow when you press it! that's so cute...hey staff what's with all the trans women you keep nuking?
i think we should be ridiculing them more for this. you don't get to try and go all "queer website" when your staff likes to go on nuking sprees targeting the trans fem users
Maybe the transfem users should stop being sex pests and violating the terms and conditions for this website, then maybe they'd stop getting banned
Because this is what your "transfem sisters" are posting before they get banned. These aren't some uwu innocent victims being kicked for no reason, they're getting reported to staff for their gross rape fetishes.
the among us show being a total gorefest on par with john carpenter's the thing is a really fun choice
the among us show having a gay orgy in the middle of it is another really fun choice
realizing many people don't know about infinity train creator owen dennis' among us show from years ago, which has been trapped in unreleased limbo all this time and was just dumped on streaming this morning with no advertisement. they don't even know about its weirdly stacked cast
Feminist criticism of men's behavior comes from the idea that gender is a social construct, that men are not inherently evil and their behavior can change. If men couldn't change, the criticism would be pointless.
It is not necessary for every feminist statement to include a 'not all men do this' disclaimer. The criticism itself already expresses the possibility that men could choose not to behave in this way.
Unless someone states that men's behavior can't change or that there is inherent evil in being a man, accusing a feminist of 'manhating' because she criticizes men is usually nothing but an attempt to distract from the content of the criticism itself.
We should recognize such an obvious attempt at derailment for what it is and move on.
“Princeton University psychologist Susan Fiske took brain scans of heterosexual men while they looked at sexualised images of women wearing bikinis. She found that the part of their brains that became activated was pre-motor areas that usually light up when people anticipate using tools. The men were reacting to the images as if the women were objects they were going to act on. Particularly shocking was the discovery that the participants who scored highest on tests of hostile sexism were those most likely to deactivate the part of the brain that considers other people’s intentions (the medial prefrontal cortex) while looking at the pictures. These men were responding to images of the women as if they were non-human.”

remember to bury the dead with a phone, everyone. these days the ferry terminal at the river styx wants you to download a fucking app
Kind of tone deaf to say “I don’t know why these super strict laws exist to protect wild animals in the United States I didn’t ask for this” when cattle ranchers are successfully pressuring Trump into removing Bison from federal lands as we speak.
We can argue about raising Bison for human consumption instead of cows on federal land all we want, but by all accounts we are missing like 25+ million bison because of their wholesale slaughter over the past few hundred years. They do serve an important ecological function.
You…don’t know why laws exist…to stop people from killing eagles and wolves and bison and coyotes and turtles in the United States?
I’m listening to these podcasts about how private homeowners/landowners can do more to make their lawns better for native wildlife, and one new thing I’d never heard until recently before was plant a bunch of local berry producing bushes. So much is about planting flowers for caterpillars to munch on for birds to eat, or flowers for pollinators.
So why berry producing bushes? Because we killed off bears.
Bears used to eat huge amounts of berries and fish, shit out the seeds, and spread berries around the US just like birds do. Except we killed like 99% of the bears, and we’re doing our best to exterminate the birds as well.
Who thinks of a bear as a creature that distributes seeds (and also technically fertilizer from eating hundreds of pounds of fish a year and then pooping farther inland).
Stupid shit you don’t think about, like missing bears roaming around the whole US, have changed our environment in ways we’re still figuring out.
It’s one thing to not know why a law exists. Totally fair. We should question why something was written.
But it’s another thing entirely to assume a law was written specifically for you as an individual, and if the law isn’t serving you right here right now, then the law is stupid.
the actual pride month rundown
- marsha p. johnson repeatedly identified as a gay man and drag queen and survived into an era where the language did already exist if he chose to identify as transsexual. he explicitly stated that he was not transsexual and claimed that all transsexual people were also homosexual.
- sylvia rivera did identify as a transsexual woman (and made disparaging speeches about lesbians). she was not an ally to lesbians. lesbians and transwomen have not always been allies.
- neither of them were there when the stonewall riots began, according to marsha’s own testimony. sylvia was sleeping off a drug trip on a park bench, and by the time marsha arrived at stonewall, the riots were already in full swing.
- storme delarverie, a mixed black gender-nonconforming lesbian and drag king, may have been the one who incited the stonewall riots. she never identified as a transman despite surviving into an an era where the language was made accessible to do so. accounts differ as to who started the riots.
- stonewall was not a special haven for trans people and drag artists, it was just some bar where gay people met up. by all accounts, it wasn’t even a good bar.
- pride as a festival and parade was invented by gay men, lesbians, and bisexual people. fred sergeant is one of those gay men, and he has been beaten (in recent years, as an elderly man) by trans people and their allies due to his views on medical transition. non-homosexual trans people were unheard of in this era.
- this is just united states history, and not even the beginning of gay rights activism in the united states alone. the rest of the world didn’t necessarily base its gay rights activism on stonewall.
"i ate too many cookies" is truly an ageless problem. an unlearnable lesson.
it really irks me how men addicted to sports betting are treated like poor helpless victims of a corrupt industry who can’t help but blow their entire salary on a parlay about a dbacks spring training game but women who overspend on lattes or clothes or blind boxes are stupid and evil and everything wrong with capitalism, whose “overconsumption” is noboby’s fault but their own. ignoring that they are also preyed upon by influencers and corporations.
like to be clear i think neither are blameless, but both are somewhat taken advantage of. i just hate that men are given a way more generous interpretation of their situation when women are criticized much more harshly for analagous behavior.

I'm looking through some anti genital preference posts made by trans people right now and I'm genuinely baffled. These people love fetishes and kinks, right? They think it's completely okay to have any kind of fetish, and that no fetish is inherently bad? Right??? And yet they're going on and on about how being a homosexual is a genital fetish and that's it evil and disgusting. It makes no fucking sense lmao
The question of why Americans like genderism more than the British never seems to bring up how America is a religious fundamentalist environment. The presentation of unquestioned allegiance to things you don’t understand and shouldn’t try to, especially if it contradicts all your instincts and common sense, is much more embedded in the culture.

I’m going to say something that might sound crazy. Suicide and suicide attempts are sort of a societal alarm bell that says “something is very wrong with the environment this individual was in.” A living being choosing to take themselves out of existence is the most extreme act of distress there is. The state stepping in to silence this alarm bell by funneling suicidal people into a state sanctioned euthanasia program, normalizing this act through a socially accepted bureaucratic system, is not a good thing. It goes hand in hand with the state’s interest in maintaining the status quo at the expense of the population and the psychiatric industry’s interest in individualizing societal problems to extract profit and aid the existing system. It’s saying “there are no complaints here, just people with sick brains, carry on.”
i've been phasing the phrase 'google it' out of my vocabulary and going back to 'look it up'. fuck you youve lost your generic trademark privileges
Happy Pride Month here's your much needed reminder that same sex love is beautiful it's 1000% okay to reject dick havers for any reason and anyone who tells you otherwise is backwards and homophobic 🏳️🌈👩🏽❤️💋👩🏾

literally like how is anyone supposed to act normal when there are a couple billionaires ruining the planet irreversibly. the world expects you to act completely normal which is insane we live in an insane world
notice how women never ever get the "what if they're neurodivergent" treatment ever. where were the "before you call that woman in distress a karen, consider she might be having an autistic meltdown!" posts.
