When you make French Dip sandwiches in the air fryer, you can enjoy the classic tastes. The cheese melts, the roast beef is soft, and the caramelized onions give it a tasty twist. Great for a quick and filling meal!
Ingredients: 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef. 4 French rolls or baguette sections. 4 slices of provolone cheese. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 1 cup beef broth. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano.
Instructions: Preheat your air fryer to 350F 175C. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and saut until they become caramelized and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Add minced garlic and saut for an additional minute. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Split the French rolls or baguette sections in half and place them in the air fryer basket, cut side up. Air fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly toasted. Layer the roast beef and provolone cheese on one side of each roll. Place the assembled sandwiches back in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and use the other side of the roll to dip into the beef broth. Serve the sandwiches with a side of the caramelized onion and garlic mixture for dipping. Enjoy your delicious Air Fryer French Dip Sandwiches!
