General life updates.

I've passed two exams out of three this semester. Do you know why?

Because I fucked up my ankle the morning in which I was supposed to do my Public Law exam.

So September will be it then, alongside Contemporary History. Here are some notes I took about WWI:

Summer 2026 Goals/Plans:

Academics:

Complete course mastery for Precalculus on KA

Complete course mastery for High School Chemistry on KA

Complete Get Ready for AP Calculus course on KA

Read a minimum of 30 minutes per day with exceptions for when I am on trips

Complete one unit a day of Spanish, French, and Chinese on Duolingo with exceptions for when I am on trips, then I will complete at least one lesson a day in each

Complete summer internship

Complete 1-week residential summer pre-college course

Meet with HS senior thesis mentor twice per month to plan thesis trajectory

Practice piano for a minimum of three hours per day with exceptions for when I am on trips

Character/Spiritual:

Complete daily Bible Study readings

Attend Advanced Ballet open classes in June

Summer trip to China

Summer trip to Washington, D.C.

Summer ballet intensive

Attend Advanced Ballet open classes in August

Hi everyone! I know I have been absent on here almost all year, but it has been a very busy year for me. It will also be a very busy summer, which I will post about shortly. This is a quick update on my goals breakdown for the spring and what I accomplished. Now you know why I have not been posting. 🦄

Spring 2026 Goals Breakdown:

Academics:

Score 90% or higher in all coursework - All As

Read for 30 minutes each day outside of “class time” (British Literature) - finished 21 books (A Warning About Swans, Utopia, An Essay on Criticism, Paradise Lost, Shakespeare's Sonnets, Othello, Macbeth, Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver's Travels, Courage (in French) The Castles of Athlin and Dunbayne, Heart of the Sun Warrior, Shadows of Perl, Wuthering Heights, Living Loved, Frankenstein, Signs of Survival: A Memoir of the Holocaust, Ivanhoe, Oliver Twist, The War of the Worlds)

Study vocabulary daily (Spanish 4)

Complete Khan Academy Precalculus course (Precalculus)

Complete Khan Academy High School Chemistry course (Chemistry with Lab)

Complete Khan Academy SAT Math + SAT Reading and Writing courses (SAT prep)

Complete one Spanish and French level (3-6 lessons) daily (Duolingo) Spanish Score: 115, French Score: 67

Complete one Chinese lesson daily (Duolingo) Chinese Score: 60 (been studying a lot with Dad and through HSK prep since I'm going to China this summer; Duo alone isn't the best for Chinese)

Complete one module for HSK Chinese prep per week

Practice piano for a minimum of 2-3 hours a day, 7 days a week

Pass school specific Advanced 2 ballet exam and move to Advanced 3 classes - YES!

Take and pass SAT (June 6) still to take

Hello and Happy Easter (or generic Sunday)!

Today I had a morning shift, which meant I tried to do something useful with myself. Did it work? Ehhhh.

Since I've felt quite lazy I've decided to take notes with a grid structure, so I'd be forced to reduce the number of information.

Here's the (not yet completed or revised) result:

It's very hard to balance work, study and life together. When I close the book, I have to work, and when I stop working, I need to do chores. And when I don't do any of these things, I still have to, you know, do the basic human stuff like eating or sleeping, and managing it has been a challenge, also because of my ADHD and fibromyalgia.

Thankfully my husband has been doing 80% of the chores or I would have gone insane a long time ago, but still, finding time to do anything else has been a struggle.

At work has been hell too, but now I'm back on doing shifts, which means I'll have more time to study. Unfortunately I've been saddled with an industry cert that will probably have priority but ok, I'll end up like this I think -> 🫩
