quiet week on campus

My week off is nice so far, could be better but it's nice. I am still trying to recover from last week and I even started a little painting. I just don't know why life feels like constant work since I'm an adult?! Hahah
I tried to work through the bank holiday, but my cat had other ideas
actually got some work done in the grad office today & i cleaned my apartment when i got home!
i also gave a lecture today on echo chambers and it went alright. i don't think teaching is for me though :')

📚 diss work 4.25.26
feeling very “this is the first day of my life” at the moment. today is the day i start working on my dissertation, rather than my prospectus or working-on-preparing-to-work on my dissertation.
probably also the last hot coffee of the season. it’s cool and rainy, but not so cold that i can’t sit outside and listen to the rain on the awning.

Life lately: working @ office, philosophy seminars and readings, writing literature review for my dissertation, doing French h/w. I’ve also sent abstract of presentation for one conference in April and I need to send theses for another conference (due at the end of February). So a lot of work. But I feel better now as I try to do some diss work after my office work.
This past semester was a mess but I came out of it victorious ✨❤️
