D23 Asia Is Coming to Singapore in 2027
D23 Announces Third International Edition: D23 Asia 2027"
Today, The Walt Disney Company announced that D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place in Singapore for the first time in 2027—creating a major milestone in the expansion of Disney’s global fan celebrations across the Asia Pacific region.
This follows the sucessful launches of D23 Japan (2011, 2015, 2018) and D23 Brazil (2024). This truly one-of-a-kind celebration offering guests exclusive, first access to the latest and greatest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation marks the first D23 Asia being hosted in Singapore.
The event will gather Disney fans from across Asia Pacific and beyond, alongside top stars and storytellers from Hollywood and around the world... uniting global communities through shared fandom, some beloved characters, and immersive experiences.

D23 Asia is part of D23’s continued expansion to bring fan events to destinations around the globe, including the recent D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience. D23 Asia in Singapore looks to deliver a reimagined experience created specifically for Asia while staying true to the scale, creativity, and fan-first spirit that define D23 events worldwide.
Princess Fantasy Faire

As a little girl in the 2000s I had a deep love for all things princesses and Fantasyland 🏰
One of my favorite memories of going to the parks was entering the Disney Princess Fantasy Faire located where the Snow White Musical stage show was housed.
This was a large outdoor area where you could meet your favorite princesses, take part in the Royal Coronation, listen to stories told by the princesses & if I remember correctly the first location of the now popular Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
Sadly, this hot spot closed to make way for the newly located Fantasy Faire which took over the Carnation Garden in 2013.
Still, it doesn’t hold the same charm as my beloved meet and greet spot

Disney's highest honor will be awarded to Chris Berman, Jerry Bruckheimer, Susan Egan, Eric Goldberg, Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Kim Irvine, D
So Quick listing of who we have here and why they are getting a Legend plaque and handprint. Top Row (left to right): Chris Berman -connected to ESPN and Sports stuff (I don't know enough about him) Jerry Bruckheimer -famed film maker, you may know him for the Pirates movies and a few others from the 2000s. Susan Egan -The amazing Megara!!!! She finally got her Legend status, thank you very much! (took yousguys loong enough), also our very first Broadway Belle. Eric Goldberg -One of the last 2D animators of a lot of our childhoods. Still working at Disney and yes he was the designer of the Genie. He also recently animated several of the characters for the new night time parade at Disney World. Anne Hathaway -Princess Mia herself from the Princess Diaries along with some other films. Bob Iger -Former (twice) CEO of the Disney Compay and ABC. Long career at the compay. Second Row (left to right): Kim Irvine -Recent Retired Head of Imagineering. Her Mother and her daughter both both were part of Imagineering and Her mother was Leota Tombs (who was the head inspo of Madam Leota) also cool that their family the only 3 women generations working in Imagineering. Her mom was one of the first women in that field as well. Dwayne Johnson -known for doing several movies for Disney including Maui's voice. Jonas Brothers -Pretty sure a generation of fans of these guys grew up watching them on the Disney Channel. Lin‑Manuel Miranda -His work in the music area for Disney crafting songs along with the likes of Alan M. and the Lopezs. Not including other aspects of his work with Disney. Alan Tudyk -Known for his Voice Acting in both Movies, animation, and tv series as well as his live action roles. Still no Jim Cummings though. Which is really odd.
