Started and finished reading The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down: A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, and the Collision of Two Cultures by Anne Fadiman for my medical anthropology class. This book was engaging, compassionate, informative, and beautifully written. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially those interested/working in healthcare.
My dad got me this cute notebook from work! I’ve been doing a lot of research into living a low-waste life, especially since I learned that the medical field is ridiculously wasteful, so I’m using it to write down tips, tricks, and brainstorms about what I can reduce and reuse 🕊
