My Name is Caroline (aka Bookstudience) and I’m a year 2 International Baccalaureate student. I need to complete an experiment for my Extended Essay to get my diploma, but I have a major problem.

The test is about short term memory, and you only have to memorize a couple of pictures then words that I will send you through dm, or through any other piece of social media. I would greatly appreciate anyone who comes forward to help me out. Even just sharing the post would mean the absolute world to me.

so we are gradually getting to the point where we might actually get into 2019... but for now here is a cozy november spread

So, I use quite a lot of apps on my tablet and phone, and I myself always enjoy these app compilations, they help me find a lot of interesting and useful ones!

Haven’t made any posts for a long time, so hopefully you’ll enjoy this one 🌸

1. Apps for Studying ✏️📔

- Goodnotes: is amazing for taking notes, digital planning, studying, and all things bujo💞 Honestly, I just downloaded it, and I enjoy it a lot. I buy my planners and stickers for it from Etsy, but you can decorate your own planner or bujo for free and add new notepads. The app itself is not free, but it is so worth it! It’s about 8 euros I think, but there’s also a few free alternatives.

- Notes writer: also for taking notes, it is for free, and it is quite good. You can write there, highlight notes, edit pdf files and add images - all for free! So, check it out if you’re interested and don’t like to pay 💛

- Microsoft OneNote: honestly, the best free alternative in my opinion. I usually use it on my laptop 💻, but you can obviously use it on your tablet/phone as well. I usually just type my notes out in it, highlight what I want, and add a few pictures if needed. A bit tricky to get used to at first, but convenient nonetheless.

- Dropbox: good for keeping your files there, syncs up on all of your devices, and is really good for file sharing. 📋 Unfortunately, it only allows you to to link three devices for free to your Dropbox, but it is quite enough still. This app helped me so many times, I lost count, when I had to quickly transfer a file from one device to another.

- Google Documents: is perfect for working on a project with a group of people online, allows you to create, highlight, correct and share your documents in it. Was very useful to me when me and my team were editing the document together live.

2. Apps for inspiration. 🦄

- Pinterest: love this app to death and use it to create boards with different themes, find tips and ideas, and to download various content (for example, custom content for the Sims 4 hehehe). I spend a lot of time there lol

- WeHeartIt: another great app with pictures, collections and articles. I use it less as of recently, but still like it a lot.

3. Apps for pictures. 🌅

- Lightroom: my go-to for editing pictures, color correcting, creating presets, and just making beautiful pictures. If you’re a bit lazy (like me 💁🏻), you can buy presets or download them for free from people who share them.

- VSCO: also a nice app for adding filters and whatnot to your pics, there’s quite a few free filters to use, and I like to get preset inspo on Pinterest. There’s a big variety of tips on how to create a certain preset for free. I am currently using a paid subscription, and it has a giant library of filters, including vintage ones, so to me that’s a worthy purchase! But both options are great, of course.

- MakeupPlus: honestly, I adore this app. It has lots of make up options, tools for editing your face in a picture, and it’s all for free! I recommend it a lot.

- AirBrush: also an app for beauty editing with cute filters, powerful editing tools, and cool features. I’m in love with this app 😍, but mostly the features there come with a premium subscription, and I gotta say - it is worth investing in.
