22.03.2021: first day back from vacation and I did nothing but draw molecules in LaTeX today. I also listened to a few lo-fi streams and found this Animal Crossing one on YouTube. All in all, not too bad. [51/100]

my mood has been very l o u s y . don't even know how many times i have wanted to give up and hide under a blanket. i just can't seem to get a grip of my life, especially my studies and it doesn't help that my group in a course project is inactive as hell. love being left on read.
i've been ticking of many to do's but it feels like i haven't done anything, even though i can see the progress myself. i guess it is true that work will not run out by working, because there is still a lot to do.

My first day of online classes went really well! My boyfriend, J, and I are taking a typography class together, and I had a little too much fun writing notes hehe

Hooboyyy week 10 in the quarter system was absolute hell but I survived! All of my assignments and projects were due at the end of the week and they hit me like one heck of a trainwreck!
I did two all-nighters in a row completing this project and another for a different class. I don’t know how I got through Wednesday and Thursday. I got zero hours of sleep on Wednesday and didn’t sleep until I came home from a Harry Potter Alliance (@thedavisalliance) holiday party at 9 PM. I slept for 3.5 hours, started on my next project at 1 AM, turned it in 8 hours later, and then crashed on my bed as soon as I came back from class.
And now it’s finals week. I’m really glad the one exam I have is on Friday because that means I have a full week to study for the exam, and then I’m going home for winter break!

I feel like I didn’t put much effort into this zine. I procrastinated on the digital work until the day before the deadline and stayed up for 24 hours working on this. By the time I got out of class, I had been awake for 27 hours (and I managed to complete a sketch for the next project during class)! A lot of the images are just screenshots from the films. The only pages that involved more editing were the first two pages after the cover.

The past few weeks have been crazy. Lots of readings and essays to write, but I’m almost done so I’m excited to be able to read for pleasure for a while. Yesterday I visited a museum in my city, and next week I’m travelling to another city with my friends, and I intend to also visit some museums and libraries there. Can’t freaking wait!
