some things i want to clear up.
[this was from a post on my instagram. i moved it here to make it permanent.]
1. i have never set out to be someone important or superior, but the way i do things just seems like that. not only people here, but even my classmates have that misunderstanding. i’m human, and i’m all sorts of insecure, stressed out and moody. do you really think i care if i’m superior to you or not? i have 32k followers, yes, right, but i am still me, a flawed human. i don’t know where i got the 32k people from, i probably bought them when i was high from school work and stole my parent’s credit card. my point is, whether smoinerd has 1 follower or 32k followers, i will never be superior to anyone, and if i did seem to you, i would apologise, but you made that choice to assume that i am because of superficial reasons.
2. i never like to assume things because i learnt the hard way that it is a stupid thing to do. a lot of things i say, privately or publicly, are my own opinions or facts (to me). i am one who does not mind being corrected, because it is all a part of the learning process. i don’t really care if you get offended, because to me, my opinion does not matter, that is why i say things so carelessly. it is shocking to me that some people think my opinion is relevant, but is that because i have 32k followers? ask yourself. do you think that the people who follow me are robots and agree to everything i do and say? highly unlikely.
3. i’ve said it before, and this is the last time im saying it. i do not like to percieve myself as a “kind” person, because im not. i am not all inclusive because i don’t see the point in making friends when i know i am not going to like you. when i follow you, it does not automatically mean a friendship. on here, i follow based on content. there is no rule that i have to be your friend and have to help you if we are following each other.
4. i am a rather private person, and to have smoinerd is weird for me, but i try to not think about it. if i decide to keep things private, you have no rights to make it public without permission. i keep my private life and whatever this life is seperate, because i want to. if you do not have access to my private shit with your accounts, then just mind your own business. why do you care about what others do when it does not concern you? i admit that my spam was for me to post my lettering things, but when i turn private on, that is the point where i am only going to share information with people i trust. please have respect for others.
