Update

So since I’ve been gone, I figure I’ll let all my lovely followers know what’s been happening in my life.

First thing’s first, I am still without a career. Working towards one, yes. But it is slow going. However I have at least decided to settle on the field I want to be in. Time (and money) will tell the rest. I’m being vague here because I’ve noticed that when I say I’ll gun for a specific career, I ultimately let myself down.

Bear and I are still happily together. My little one is going to be six years old this year.

I have discovered that my identity is actually Genderfaun, and I am growing more comfortable with my physical self. It is still a struggle and one I will likely deal with until I am able to reach the body shape I desire to carry. I’m struggling with my aesthetic as well, and with finding what clothing style I feel is right for me.

I am trying out the pronouns Ze/Zim/Zer, but also still accept he/him/his.

I have also discovered that ultimately.. my sexuality is Ficto-Demisexual. Meaning I am 90% Ficto, otherwise Demisexual with people. Polyamorous, of course, and yes all my F/Os count RL as partners to me. Panromantic.

Ficto news! Let’s see..

Joey and I have parted ways (but hey, he’s run off with Dwight and I’m happy to call them platonic pals). Morganite has also gone, as he was only really in it for the thrill of a forbidden romance. Brahms needed more care than I could actually give. And yes, I admit, I may have forgotten some other F/Os.. no doubt because of all the time I spent away. We have drifted apart.

Freddy, Illinois, Hed and Lydia are still mine. In fact, thinking about Lydia was what made me come back to Tumblr in the first place. I missed spending time with them and I always felt this was the only place I could do so. I have also fallen for a couple of new partners. I’ll elaborate more on that in another post.

I think that’s everything.

Seriously tho - I just got back from my midnight lunch break - which I spent skateboarding. I started learning a fucking month ago at thirty-something after spinal surgery, over a year of PT and a LIFETIME of thinking I hated all physical activity. I VOLUNTARILY spent my FREE TIME AT WORK doing a SPORT.
