No one is forcing you to make mods and in no way are we obligated to compensate you for your efforts. If your sole purpose to join a community is to make a profit out of it, then you are a narcissist and are not welcomed. Plain and simple.

Anyway, if you want to pay someone for creative labor consider commissioning an actual genuine struggling artist or something, idk, your money could just go somewhere better than to greedy modders.

as an aside, Sims 2 custom content was HELLA monetized. Lot of y'all weren't around for the knock-down, drag-out bullshit surrounding TSR and what they used to be, which was 100% perma-paywalled straight into the TS3 days. This has been going on for ~20 years and we're g-damn sick of it.
