I can't believe I'm posting about this again but this time about my own country. This morning, an earthquake of 7.4 magnitude took place in the municipality of San José del Palmar, Chocó. The earthquake affected several cities and municipalities, including Cali, Pereira, Manizales and Quibdó, a lot of families were left without nothing and each minute the number of lives lost just keep increasing. I heavily encourage you to keep my people in your hearts, and if you want to donate I'm sharing some resources here. For the record, Chocó is one of the departments in my country that has been overlooked for years and years, they had been ignored and not long ago they also suffered from fires.
and if your community has places like community centers, churches, schools, or other places accepting donations, i highly encourage you to give what you can 🙏🏼🇨🇴

there was a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that happened in colombia this morning & i havent seen anyone talking about it so i wanted to share. at least 70 people are reported dead and there is a lot of damage. sources in spanish that a guy i know shared here and here . my friend in colombia is fine but he lives outside medellin so he's a bit further away from the most affected area. here and here are some links in english (tried to remove the paywall) incase you don't read spanish

Morana's campaign has been going absolutely insane (in a good way) so of course I had to make some NPCs from it in the sims!! This is Lord Runeweaver, and he's more or less our party's patron.
He and Morana actually get along pretty well despite Morana's best attempts to convince herself otherwise. They're very similar in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to their interest in magic. It definitely helps that he also hates nobles, though.
Some more fun facts about Runeweaver:
His noble house is the only who have a history of magic.
Because of that he's arguably the single most powerful person in Eldrondar aside from the king.
Despite this all of the other nobles hate him, largely because he spent most of his youth (age 6 - mid-20s) living in exile from his family.
He's a stone-cold badass, actually. The full quote that I sampled from above is "If House Runeweaver ends with me, at least it will be remembered for standing in the storm. Meanwhile your house will be remembered as being too afraid of pawprints on the marble to ever leave the house." It was said to Lord Wilfred Humphrey, another nobleman, who also happens to be the rogue's father. He was just sipping his drink and was completely unbothered by Wilfred trying SO HARD to get under his skin. Wilfred ended up looking like a fool.
He's the only person (aside from "Conrad" and (maybe) Kaelen, presumably) who knows about Morana's magical inheritance and her ability to see little moments from the past.
Unfortunately he happens to be slowly dying from a magical disease -- the same one that killed the queen.
He hired the party to do what he can't and venture out to gather different ingredients for the project a few of the noble houses are working on the cure the disease.
We do get to bring him on a quest next session, though, and I'm very excited. Mostly to find out how he knows the woman we're supposed to go find. (His reaction to finding out it was her we needed to talk to was "HER? Why did it have to be her???" which made me cackle. Especially because when asked what was so bad about her, he said that she hates following directions, especially from nobles. To which Morana responded that that sounded like the entire party. (He did not deign to respond to that comment.))
Anyways! I'm hoping we can make sure he doesn't die!! I was convinced I wasn't going to like him, but then he was chill with Morana and such a hilarious badass at the gala, and I was like "oh, goddammit. I like you now." (Which is also exactly what happened to Morana, except she's going to continue to deny that she thinks he's cool. And when she finally does, she'll justify it with "Well, he's not a real noble, anyways!")
