Once again, we are ROCKING and RAGING for the whole June!
Special fake crowds and all cc used are included in download with lot like before!
YES! You can use your own stuff to make a stage for your bands! I encourage you to do so!
lot is 50x50 intended to be placed in Sulani, but can be placed in any world too!

Okay I wanted to try making something a bit more everyday makeup this time. I originally had blush, contour, and a second lip option as well, but they didn't look good in cas so I ended up removing them. This hair is based on the EP09 double buns mesh, I realized I haven't made a proper updo in a while, so this is kind of a return to that style again.

The concept for this photoshoot was "thrift shop in a castle" and ended up more "fancy estate sale" which I guess is pretty much the same thing. 😆 These are some very basic (but essential!) baggy jeans, with a shoelace belt variant to spice things up a bit. As with all my denim items, you can pick from a selection of 25 classic denim washes (V1) or my default 45 swatch palette (V2). 👖

Hi everyone!
This is an illustrated guide I made as part of my co-admining work at The Middle Eastern Feminist on Facebook! It will be published there shortly.
The technique that is displayed here is a genuine one used in psychology - I forgot the name and couldn’t find it again so if you know about it, feel free to tell me!
Some could say: “Yes but you can use that technique for instances of harassment other than Islamophobic attacks!”, and my reply is: Sure! Please do so, it also works for other “types” of harassment of a lone person in a public space!!
However I’m focusing on protecting Muslims here, as they have been very specific targets lately, and as a French Middle Eastern woman, I wanted to try and do something to raise awareness on how to help when such things happen before our eyes - that way one cannot say they “didn’t know what to do”!
I’d like to insist on two things:
1) Do not, in any way, interact with the attacker. You must absolutely ignore them and focus entirely on the person being attacked!
2) Please make sure to always respect the wishes of the person you’re helping: whether they want you to leave quickly afterwards, or not! If you’re in a hurry escort them to a place where someone else can take over - call one of their friends, or one of yours, of if they want to, the police. It all depends on how they feel!
For my fellow French-speakers: I will translate it in French and post it on my page as soon as I can :)
Please don’t hesitate to share this guide as it could push a lot of people to overcome bystander syndrome!!

western (usually white but seemingly not in this case) people love to call nonwhite foods suddenly becoming popular in western mainstream culture "industry plants" as if they haven't always existed.
I’m confused what the anger/annoyance here is directed at?
The consumer who is rejecting the products because they’re being massively advertised and it’s kind of annoying?
Like if tiramisu was getting matcha levels of hype I’d be kind of annoyed with it too. That’s what happened with cinnamon rolls a while back, though idk if you’d call that a white food to begin with.
The “first wave” of matcha, where it just suddenly became available in a lot of places and it was cool to drink was fun and good. But after that picked up, every establishment is using it as a selling point to claw at customer money now and that’s to me the depressing part. That’s what kind of makes it feel like an “industry plant” even though I do think it just became popular in a pretty normal way.
I think it’s very clear that the frustration is with (largely, but not exclusively) white Westerners dismissing these food traditions whole cloth as new age advertising fads, rather than perhaps acknowledging them as very old staples that have been appropriated and repackaged for mass-marketability.
We all understand being frustrated with advertising and capitalism, sure. But maybe the solution is not claiming these things “aren’t real” when they are in fact very real to the cultures they belong to.
Like just because in Western culture certain things become a product doesn’t mean the foods themselves don’t have value, and when you’re from a culture where these things are commonplace it kinda sucks to see Westerners talk about it like an easily discardable fad
