Summary:

Margaery is a successful actress whose picture-perfect life is not quite what it seems. When a certain redhead becomes inadvertently intertwined with the darkest parts of herself and her family, her carefully curated mask threatens to come undone.

Chapter 4:

Charismatic did not even begin to scratch the surface of what she was seeing. There was a presence to her, an aura that stole every scene. It felt like she was gazing directly into Sansa’s eyes when she turned towards the audience. You could feel the character’s emotions, understand what she was going through, empathise with every subtle shift in expression.

Margaery's movements were effortless, lithely gliding across the stage as if she was built for nothing else. There was not a moment where she was out of step. Of course, she was the titular character; she was supposed to be front and centre. Still, Sansa had not had her attention so pulled towards Rhaenys the first time she had watched.

And when she sung… gods, her voice was captivating. It wasn’t low, not exactly; instead, it was powerful, slightly sultry but perfectly clear. What a skill it was to be able to annunciate every word of every song; to be able to portray so perfectly the inner demons, the lust for authority, the gratuitous charm of the character.

It was just about the most beautiful singing voice Sansa had ever heard.
