The Disco Kitchen

I started the pastel layers which are going fine so far, but the coloring ended up highlighting some kind of... rot? Vinyl degradation? happening on the doll's left ear. 😬 I'm not sure what would've caused this but this was where the weird bright pink stains were so I wonder if some mystery substance accidentally splattered onto the head in this spot? I really don't know!

After years (?) of having this game installed in Steam, I finally decided to give it a click. It's really cute and funny so far!

Me: Okay, we need to draw the lower eyelashes on the first eye 🤗

Also Me: Done, no problem, looks perfect! 💖

Me: Okay, now we need to draw the lower eyelashes on the second eye 🤗

With luck this will be the last symmetrical thing I have to do on this doll. Here's what I ended up with:

I daresay you can tell which side I did first 😖 But anyway, the pastel layers are after this and I got a few tubs of Pearl Ex (on sale!) that I think I'm going to try using as eye shadow. Gotta have that glitter!

OH OH OH and I NEED you to see my perfect bias tape:

I used a 1/4" bias tape maker and it worked a treat! It's seriously tiny! I'm going to use it on the arm holes and lower hem too.
