its funny to me how warmups for instruments generally sound nice and pretty. like just basic scales or chords. the exercises i do on my guitar could be mistaken for actual music at times.
and then vocal warmups are shit like. bark like a seal. grunt like a thwomp from mario 64. now sing the melody but instead of the lyrics youre saying 'moo moo mee mee mah mah' even the scales you gotta moo mee mah through that shit and its just so goofy every time. and this is why im not a singer
see this is exactly what i mean. i thought someone was having a mental break of some kind in my notes until i remembered what i had posted last night
plot 150 words bed-sharing 200 words smut 800 words projecting my fears, insecurities, and anxieties onto a fictional character 9,356 words fluff 150 words someone who is good at fan fiction please help me budget my WIP, my family is dying
Rocky and Grace are yelling at each other. Rocky stops mid argument to demand that Grace put on his angry eyebrows. Grace immediately stomps to the whiteboard, stomps back over with the dry erase marker, draws angry eyebrows on the xenonite ball. the argument continues
I somehow just realized Vulcan and Erid share the same sun.

So uuuuh this is NOT FINISHED. Also it was sketched out like two years ago when I first listened to Wolf 359. I recently started relistening and I remembered I started this again. It has haunted me that I never got it done bc I was really excited about it. It was the companion piece for the version I did of Eiffel. So anyways I'm posting the rough Work in Progress sketches for posterity. Feels like a waste to just let it rot hidden deep in my hard drive and at this point... yeah I don't think its gonna happen I'm sorry haha. Not unless I suddenly get a lot of free time (not likely unless I win the lottery).

So this started off as just one doodle but I guess sometimes when you can’t get a piece of media out of your head you just gotta doodle it All out of your system. So here’s a timeline of Doug Eiffel’s very bad time in orbit around Wolf 359 and beyond. Mostly it was me indulging in floaty space hair and practicing drawing a character uniformly and reliably. I appreciate that most of us seem to agree he is a bun and/or ponytail man.
Bonus: The rest of the crew
do you think in the 1910/1920s people were getting in trouble for joking like "we just hit the iceberg..." and "this is literally my titanic"
So now anytime someone says "crying, screaming, throwing up"
There is only one thing I can think of
codependent 🐰🦊

I fully understand why describing a character of an unclear ethnic background as "ambiguously brown" is Not Good, but I started thinking about how the more you narrow it down, the funnier it gets to describe a character as "ambiguously" something.
"Ambiguously brown" - frankly that's just lazy, that could be anywhere. Just say "brown" if you really have to.
"Ambiguously African" - okay you have a vague guess of a continent
"Ambiguously Central Asian" - plausible to narrow down on sight if you're very familiar with people from around this region
"Ambiguously Baltic" - this mf is either Latvian or Lithuanian, and I am intrigued by the fact that your estimate is this precise but you still aren't confident enough in your assessment to guess which one
"Ambiguously Grevenan" - if you can tell greeks apart that closely, then frankly you're just flexing at this point
writer: "he was ambiguously American"
reader: "so wait, was he white? black? hispanic? Samoan?"
writer: "in the low light and dense fog, it was impossible to make out, but he was definitely eating a burger."
Dear listeners.
