you know now that i think about it it's really fucking funny that when they were making the sonic movies, the studio had such an intense hold over the creator's heads that they basically told them they weren't allowed to make a movie unless it was a live-action/cgi hybrid with the plot of hop, but then also the writers were like "hey this one guy we hired is doing really funny homoerotic stuff with jim carrey. we're making him a main character" and nobody could stop them
