i think we just need to clarify here that:

- daenerys targaryen spent her childhood in exile, constantly running from assassins

- her brother, her ONLY family (at that time anyways) became abusive and manipulative towards her after he became power hungry

- said brother then SOLD HER to a warlord who he knew was dangerous, in exchange for an army, like her life meant nothing to him

- she was the married of to this stranger and was raped on a daily basis until she learnt how to survive with him

- she then lost her husband (her only means of protection and survival) and her unborn child on the SAME day, after being betrayed by a woman she thought she could trust

- spent weeks walking through deserts, with only a handful of followers. dehydrated and starving, where she also lost people

- was betrayed by people in Quarth - including a girl she considered a friend

- fought and fought to destroy slavery

- had to chain her dragons -her children- up to keep her people safe

- was captured by the dothraki, where she was whipped and treated like an animal until she burned the khals

- followed jon snow beyond the wall to save him whilst losing viserion in the process

- followed him to the north, after pausing her fight for the iron throne (something she’s fought for, for years) and brought all of her armies, her fleet and dragons, AS WELL AS dragon glass for weapons

- of course only then to be met with the stubborn ass people in the north, who refuse to support her, despite everything she’s giving up to help them

- finds out that everything she’s fought for may be for nothing, because there’s a man who shares the same last name as her

- who she just so happens to genuinely be in love with

- loses the entire dothraki, large sums of her unsullied and ser jorah, in the battle against the wights

- now realised that her advisors don’t even want her as queen, and that many people would rather see jon snow on the throne, despite him not having as worked as hard as her for it

- still doesn’t have the support of the north 🙄🙄

- loses rhaegal, and missandei (her only female friend)

and i honestly can’t remember if i’ve missed anything out (idk it’s just 4am in the UK, i’m tired)

ANYWAY, if d&d decide to well and truly destroy daenerys’ character ark the way it seems they are, and decide to go ‘mad queen’ i’d just like to point out that after EVERYTHING she’s been through, it would make sense that she’s so wracked with grief and anger that she wants to lash out and destroy KL

There’s only so much one person can take, and i honestly think that the one thing daenerys wants most is to be loved, to be part of a family. not to sit on the iron throne, she sees it as her duty. and now? now she’s lost everyone who ever really cared about her, and i think subconsciously she know that the starks are going to turn jon against her. hell im convinced that tyrion’s gonna go against her after that shit show if an episode, after all varys did.

On Monday, a boy who was obsessed with Iron Man, told me he had asked his parents for a new Wonder Woman lunchbox. 

A little girl said “When I grow up I want to speak hundreds of languages like Diana”

This girl had her parents revamp her Beauty and the Beast birthday party in THREE DAYS because she simply had to have a Wonder Woman party. 

Seven girls playing together during recess on Tuesday, saying that since they all wanted to be Wonder Woman they had agreed to be Amazons and not fight but work together to defeat evil. 

There is this one girl that refuses to listen to you unless you address her as Wonder Woman. 

Another girl very seriously asked the teacher if she could ditch her uniform for the Wonder Woman armor bc she “wanted to be ready if she needed to save the world”. The teacher laughed and said it was okay, and the next day the girl came dressed as Wonder Woman and not a single kid batted an eye.

They are making a wrap-up dance show, and they asked the teacher if they could come as superheroes, they are going to sing a song about bunnies. 

This kid got angry and threw a plastic car over his head and a girl gasped “LIKE IN THE MOVIE”

A boy threw his candy wrapping in the floor and a 5-year-old girl screamed “DON’T POLLUTE YOU IDIOT, THAT IS WHY THERE ARE NO MEN IN TEMYSCIRA”

On Wednesday, a girl came with a printed list of every single female superhero and her powers, to avoid any trouble when deciding roles at recess. 

I was talking to one of the girls that hadn’t seen the movie, and the next day she came and very seriously told me “you were right, Wonder Woman was way better than Frozen.”
