I'm amused by Ventress/Obi-Wan, but it’s important to acknowledge it absolutely would not work. Obi-Wan is often elitist and condescending, Ventress does not tolerate other people's shit. They’d start after mistaking their “flirty” banter for genuine attraction one time too many, then the relationship is only sustained by focusing on shared targets, and slightly above-average hate sex. Neither of them would voluntarily break it off like normal people because that would be admitting failure. They’re both going against their cultural norms, which they would use to guilt the other. Ventress would be planning to kill him after two weeks, max. Obi-Wan knows what she's planning and would use it to convince everyone the problems were all her fault. That’s without getting into Anakin and Satine's reactions to this nonsense. I almost want it to get more canon validation, just to watch the trainwreck.
