intro post(roleplaying/writing)
But first - some very important ground rules/notes.
This is primarily a mature(and often sexually explicit) writing/roleplay blog centered around pregnancy/birth in medieval or medieval fantasy settings. Do not proceed any further if any of these bother you.
If you are underaged/minor or do not have a defined age in your profile - don't follow me or I will block you.
Everything here is for the intention of written fiction or imagined fantasy.
All my written works will either be tagged as 'mature' and/or 'sexually explicit' by default to avoid getting my blog removed again for the nth time. Please refer to my literary works list.
All image references used are purely for recreational narrative and descriptive immersion purposes. I do not claim any of these as my own.
With that out of the way-
Greetings!
The name's Maxi, and I'm an experienced writer and roleplayer who crafts stories with alot of pregnancy, birth, and drama almost exclusively in the medieval/fantasy setting. It's because I've come to appreciate how pregnancies/births are done in those times - the historical-romantic cultures associated with it, high stakes, intrigue, political drama involving heirs and bastards, or even simply the physiological differences of how gestation varies between races. The GoT angst, or the general romance of pregnancies in medieval media. Whatever the case may be, I just can't get enough of it.
Third-person, multi-paragraph, literate
Fantasy / medieval settings
Immersive and descriptive writing
Realistic birth sequences(don't just pop 'em out, strain forth)
Pregnancy(full term, late term, or overdue)
Pregnancy side effects(back pain, exhaustion, discomfort, etc)
Birth complications(large pregnancies, petite mother, etc)
Belly movement(activity of offspring)
Long, difficult labor/birth(either due to size, fetal position, etc)
Pregnant fluff and angst(Pregnant affection and pregnant drama)
Physical and clothing detail during pregnancy
Water breaking(trickling of birth fluids, often occurring during pushing.)
Vocalizations during labor/birth(crying, sobbing, panting, grunting, screaming, etc)
Vulnerable/delicate partners who needs support
NOTE: All of these can still be subjected to change.
My role in these scenes tends to be the support or attendant figure — the midwife, the partner, the healer who isn't sure what to say, or whoever the story calls for. I write that side fully: examinations, reactions, decisions, everything the attendant does and feels. But the physical experience of labor belongs to your character. I'll never write what your character's body is going through — that's yours to describe. I love worldbuilding and story writing as passions in their own right, so I'm always happy to explore new ideas as long as they're grounded in the logic of whatever world we're building together.
