Since nobody else mentions this, GRRM having so many twins surviving birth in a faux medieval world is EXTREMELY unrealistic and just shows he plays more to his fetishes than actual reality.

Do u prefer Asks or DMs when it comes to roleplays?
Usually I try to keep my DMs open to RP and keep asks specifically just for questions. I also have a discord just in case people prefer to RP there instead of tumblr.
I was actually thinking of doing something cute with my RPs and making an âannouncementâ for when the baby is born. I saw another user do it but I guess they have their own issues/problems with others in the RP community đ€·đŸââïž
Either way, asks are specifically for questions and DMs are open for RP requests. Just make sure that when you have a request for an RP, make sure you tell me what specifically you have in mind versus just sending me a generic message. I usually donât respond to those.

Shadows
Roselyn was exhausted. The voices plagued her. âYouâll never survive both. Or rather⊠the second will not survive!â a jarring voice told her. She didnât understand⊠why are they saying both and second? âThere is only one!â Roselyn said in her head, just as another wave of pain hit her.
âCome on Roselyn. You can do this!â Kaelyn said, kneeling in front of her. Sabina was also kneeling beside Kaelyn, having her hand over Roselynâs abdomen. âThe baby is thriving so far. It really wants to meet youâ Sabina said. Roselyn barely registered, as there was intense pain constantly coursing through her body. âI canât do it anymore!â she gasped, holding the chair handles.
Kaelyn checked again. âOkay Roselyn. You have to push, the babyâs coming down!â she said, giving Roselyn a smile. Sabina used her superpower to relieve some of the pain. She had telekinetics, telekinesis and the power to turn objects and people invisible and visible only for others with superpowers. Kaelyn also had superpowers. She had the ability to fire molten silver, shape it how she wanted, increase and decrease the temperature, withdraw it and turn into an indestructible silver figure. Plus, Kaelyn had outstanding expertise in the medical field. Especially in the OB/GYN field, which was why she was assisting Roselyn in delivering her child. Roselyn, however, was not certain why she was being told to push. The baby was still high up and hadnât descended, Roselyn could feel it.
âItâs not time!â Roselyn said, looking intently at Kaelyn and Sabina. They looked at each other and back at Roselyn. âRoselyn, I can feel the baby. Itâs time to push!â Sabina said. âI can feel the baby as well. Itâs descended down, so the only way is to push and deliver your baby!â Kaelyn said, checking Roselyn again. Nevertheless, Roselyn insisted.
Suddenly, the air filled with shadows. âTheyâre here! Theyâre here to kill me!â Roselyn said, trying to stand up. Though just as she got up, she gasped and almost fell. âRoselyn!â Sabina said, catching her. âI have to get out of here! Iâll get killed!â Roselyn said, before clutching her lower abdomen and winced in pain. Kaelyn and Sabina managed to get her back into the chair. âTheyâre going to kill me!â Roselyn cried, before clutching at her abdomen again.
Sabina looked around and nodded to Kaelyn. âI can sense the ones youâre talking about Roselyn. And I can hear them mumbling!â she said, before grabbing the lantern and torch. Kaelyn grabbed her OB-kit and moved closer to Roselyn and Sabina. âReady?â she asked, to which Sabina nodded. Kaelyn drew a deep breath and started creating a silver dome around them. Just as the dome was almost finished, the door to the room opened. A man came running in, slamming the door behind him. They instantly recognised him. âLouie!â an exhausted Roselyn cried. Kaelyn and Sabina sighed a big sigh of relief as Louie rushed over.
âHoney, I came as fast as I could!â Louie said, kissing Roselyn. âLouie, there are spirits that are going to kill me!â Roselyn gasped, before wincing in pain. Louie looked at Sabina, who nodded. âGet closer to your wife and weâll seal off, so the spirits canât get to herâ Kaelyn said before creating a large silver dome around them. âBaby!â Roselyn gasped, breathing becoming heavier. Louie sat himself behind her and supported her.
âOkay Roselyn. The baby is descending rapidly. You have to push!â Kaelyn said, grabbing the OB-kit. Sabina also knelt and assisted Kaelyn. âThe baby is so high up! Thereâs no way I can push!â Roselyn gasped. âBaby, listen to Kaelyn; she knows what sheâs talking about!â Louie said. Roselyn pushed, but insisted that the baby wasnât far enough down. âBabyâs crowning!â Kaelyn said. Roselyn kept pushing, crying in pain. She was leaning against Louie, who was pale with worry. Sabina tried using her power to keep Roselyn calm.
âOne more big push!â Kaelyn said, holding a blanket to wrap the baby in. Roselyn clutched Louieâs hand and gave another big push. âHere it comes. Okay, head born⊠baby born!â Kaelyn said. Roselyn leaned against Louie who kissed her. âCongratulations!â Sabina said, checking the babyâs vitals. âWhat is it?â Louie asked. âItâs a girl!â Kaelyn said, handing the baby to Roselyn. âDo you want to cut the cord?â Sabina asked Louie. Louie took the surgical scissors and, slightly shaking, cut the cord.
Roselyn kissed her daughter and Louie, but suddenly she felt something move inside her again. âOw! Thereâs something wrong!â she said, looking at Kaelyn with frightened eyes. Kaelyn looked at her and checked her again. âThereâs another!â she said, grabbing the OB-kit again. âWhat?â Louie said. Sabina put her hand on Roselynâs abdomen. âThereâs another baby!â she said, before getting a worried expression.
âWhatâs happening?â Louie asked, as Sabina took the baby from Roselyn and placed her in a little bed Kaelyn shaped. âRoselyn, you have another baby on the way! You have to push again!â Kaelyn said, kneeling again. âThey were right! There were two!â Roselyn said, before holding on to Louie. Louie was frightened, but kept calm. âYou can do this honeyâ he said, as Roselyn began pushing again.
After a few minutes, Sabina and Kaelyn were getting more anxious. Roselyn and Louieâs child wasnât coming, despite Roselyn pushing as hard as she could. âThis is taking too long!â Sabina said to Kaelyn, who nodded. âLouie, help us get Roselyn up!â Kaelyn said. Louie nodded and supported Roselyn.
âGiving birth standing up is hopefully more effectful for youâ Kaelyn told Roselyn, who nodded and started pushing as hard as she could. Kaelyn checked to see if the baby was descending. âGreat news! Standing up and pushing is helping the baby come downâ she said. Louie smiled and kissed Roselyn, who gave a shaky smile back. Sabina kept checking the babyâs vitals.
âThe baby is coming, but the vitals are worrying me!â Sabina said. Roselyn was exhausted, but when she heard that her baby was doing poorly, her strength returned. She pushed even harder. Kaelyn was still kneeling to catch the baby. âOne more push! Head born⊠baby born!â she said, lifting the baby up to Roselyn.
Roselyn held the baby close, whilst Louie helped her sit back down. âTwin girls!â Kaelyn said, handing Louie the surgical scissors to cut the cord. Sabina checked the vitals once again and smiled a relieved smile. âSheâs fine now. That last push, that helped in getting her out before something went wrong!â she said, before giving Roselyn her first baby so she could hold her twins. âTheyâre perfect!â Louie said, holding his daughters with Roselyn, and crying joyous tears.
Kaelyn and Sabina looked at the happy family and smiled. But Kaelyn saw the worry in Sabinaâs eyes and Sabina saw the worry in Kaelynâs eyes. Roselyn had only just given birth. She was exhausted after the difficult birth and didnât have the energy to move. And staying was too dangerous, the spirits Roselyn had heard⊠they were after the twins. Louie and Roselynâs daughters were in danger, and neither Kaelyn, nor Sabina, knew how to protect them all properly.
The End⊠for now
This is another original story of mine I wrote, please go easy on me as I was fourteen when I wrote it. No stealing or copying
I keep considering like. Essentially live-blogging childbirth. Like a weird person. I shouldn't do that. But for some reason the way this keeps cropping up in my head is:
"I should live-blog my birth."
Which. Definitely can't do that!

đ©șEvery Two Minutes: Preventing Maternal Deathsđ©ș
Itâs a statistic that shocks: every two minutes, a woman dies during pregnancy and childbirth. This loss is a preventable tragedy. Most maternal deaths can be avoided with access to quality prenatal care, skilled attendance at birth, and emergency obstetric services.
Conditions like severe bleeding, infections, and pre-eclampsia are manageable with the right medical interventions. This requires investing in robust healthcare systems and a skilled health workforce.
As a medical community, we must advocate for every mother's right to safe childbirth. A woman's life should not be the cost of bringing new life into the world.

loki childbirth pleaaase đđ» bonus points for loki being alone and scared bc Thor is off realm and his labor started while husband was away
sure!!! obvious tw for graphic depictions of a rough childbirth
(also tw for inaccurate medical and birth information. I've never had a baby nor have I gone to medical school, so this is all just online info and stuff I've read in books and medical dramas đ don't use this for real medical info...obviously)
Loki bit down on his lip as a wave of contractions hit him again. They were fairly far apart, so he wasn't too worried about it so far. Thor was busy elsewhere, dealing with interplanetary relations on Vanaheim. He breathed in deep and held it until the wave of pain faded again. They were getting scarily close together now, and Loki was about ready to send for his husband. But no, no, he couldn't do that so soon...he hasn't even contacted the doctor yet. No, he will deal with this himself until it is absolutely necessary to send for Thor. He's been through worse alone.
