.. I can't think of any capitalists who want to reinstate child labor. It's crazy that this was only a little over 100 years ago.

Some mild loosening of child labor laws for teens and preteens has been proposed by Republicans in certain states which is no doubt what OP is thinking of. I'm sure there are companies that would love to reinstate this under the guise of lemonade stands but thats not where the average capitalists head is at.

(gets scared someone will report me to the police) people around the world die of natural causes every day. (remembers i want people to think i'm smart) and i know who it's going to be (remembers i want to retain an air of mystery) but i'm not telling.

ok thank god there's so many fucking videos showing you how to do a ladder stitch like it's some kind of magic trick but here's the actual use case for it: closing a seam you can't reach the inside of. in all other cases, if you're fixing a ripped seam on pants, or on a tshirt, the ladder stitch is a messy, glorified running stitch.
