The memorial card I put up for Michael was still up at the metaphysical store memorial wall and it made me want to cry. I was so happy to see him again. I showed him the bee I got on my wrist and left a stone on the table. I picked up some herbs and got some catnip (not for Mushroom because she doesn’t care about catnip or so I thought because she’s never been interested whatsoever…) and she decided that it was amazing and rubbed her little face all over the bag until I gave her a little bit which she loved 🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧 imo she knows what’s good green and what’s not just like her mother 😌
Michelin-star fish in the desert is so so good. It’s incredible in how it captures both Armand and Daniel’s characters, it’s beautifully written and it covers many events and a good amount of time seamlessly. It’s amazing I reread it all the time.

AH HI this is a good reminder for me: 1. writing! yeah it's hard a lot of the time, yeah i torture myself with truly outrageous research (do i really NEED an exhaustive sequence detailing the logistics of a space ship delivering a nautical ship to the ocean's surface from low orbit?) but it truly is the most rewarding part of my life.
2. when a set of dice comes out REALLY good and shiny
3. my sweet doggo, my standoffish and Very Dignified boy-cat, and how much they adore each other. they really are soulmates
4. how kind the shakarian fandom has been to me this year
5. having a clean, functional room in my house where i can just go and be comfy and read a book
