I dreamed I went to visit him out in the country and it wasn't until I arrived that I remembered he was no longer there, and the house is repainted.

Very clearly remember telling my mom, in great earnest, that I was sorry for doing something bad (jumping on the bed) and that I would try to not do it again. She didn't like this answer for reasons that were beyond me and it took a lot of back and forth to understand that the answer she was looking for was that I wouldn't do it again. Which I got the concept of, obviously, but like. I wasn't perfect! Jumping on the bed is very fun and I knew it would take some effort to not do it ever again! But I would try, for my mom, because I wanted to be good

Anyway, I get her point now, but still find it very endearing of little me. Also we were up at 4am to go see GW Bush give a speech so I forgive my mom for not wanting to play semantics games with a small child right at that moment

Replaying veilguard and as fun as it really undeniably is, I haaaaaate the dialogue. I feel like I should be looking directly into the camera with a little smirk every other scene. Why does everyone have a snappy but slightly awkward reply to everything. Why is everyone so nice to me

It was Pancake's 6th birthday recently 🥳♥️

Idk, some of you may remember the lore, but he was abandoned at birth by his mom (a stray who is now also my cat lmao) and I raised him myself :)

I think the actual reason why she abandoned him and not her other kittens is because he had a lot of trouble pooping in those first days (I actually had to take him to the vet over it a couple times), but I like to tell him it's because he's an asshole

I hope that this doesn't come off as weird but: from one stranger on the internet to another, I'm so proud of you for facing your fears!! even if you did it scared, you did it!!

I also got out yesterday and drove to a ✨new location✨ (wow!) and it honestly felt... easy? Normal? How it used to be for me, anyway. It's a really nice feeling

#the main thing for me is building inertia.#the more i do it the easier it is and the more i can do #but I had come to a standstill for so long and it was really difficult to get it moving again #and it will take a certain level of diligence to keep it going #but I can manage that I think :)
