— she was 27 when she came back home just so lestat could degrade her even more and make fun of her attempts to get education. a black woman in 1930.

— she was 33 when she had to accept her abuser back to their home. who continued to treat her as a bad-mannered child ("a lick and a promise in vampire years" - let me remind you lestat, that you started courting louis when he was 33).

— all that time she continued to live in her childhood bedroom and sleep in her childhood bed with basically no hope to find her own home, her own partner or even a friend. all she had was a codependent parent she didn't even wanna confide in.

— she was 36 when she attempted to escape that house and lestat didn't let her.

— she was 36 when the chess scene happened. where once again lestat berated her, called her a spoiled child and blamed louis for "timid child-rearing". like, the level of disrespect here...

— she was at least 42 when "me and you" scene happened. louis was 68. it's not "a young dad talks to his teenage daughter" scene. it's an old man trying to talk his adult daughter out of suicidal ideation.

— she was 44 when she had to play a little girl on stage every night. while everyone in her life continued to treat her as a little girl. when her father/brother decided he needed to protect her and didn't even tell her that someone was threatening both of their lives.

ospreys only eat fish, that's why they don't register this starling as possible food

the starling got home safely

the starling was not trying to eat the eggs, it was mostly curious and you can see it trying to hop under the osprey every time the osprey tries to sit down again--this is because the starling is still a baby and has the instinct to get under an adult for warmth, even though it mostly has its feathers. this scares the osprey because that is a Foreign Creature near its eggs.

at the end of the video you can see the ospreys starting to turn the eggs. birds do this so the yolk and/or embryo don't stick to the shell of the egg, which is bad for the egg's health.
