To be a creative is not a soft option. It takes Courage to stand apart from the mass.  Resilience to persist when there is no recognition by popular culture. Defiance to continue to believe in what you do. And Faith in Truth whilst the rest of society hides behind soulless trends and fashions. 

Elegance is always the opposite of haste. 

Solitude is intense.  Society is dilution. 

Refinement - the removal of impurities - is more reliably found in solitude.  

Fitting in is not an option for the imaginative creative. 

If one is in touch with their true self, then one need never feel inferior to another. 

Holding yourself to high standards is not the same as competing with others. One is genteel. The other carries with it a lack of elegance. 

Old world: discrete, subtle and understated.
