being able to hear someone criticizing your behaviour or something you like whether it's music or tv shows or a restaurant you like or clothes or whatever and not immediately collapsing emotionally or responding as though you're being physically attacked is one of the most important skills to develop and a sign of maturity and resilience. if you react like you're a caged animal every time you encounter someone who doesn't like something you do or dislikes something you like or just straight up doesn't like you that needs to be addressed if you want to grow as a person and not live in a constant state of insecurity. if you assume that someone disagreeing with you or disliking something you like, especially if it's an opinion on art and media, automatically impacts your worth as an individual or makes you react the same way you did when you were 5 and another kid didn't want to play with you that needs to be addressed idk what to say it's time to develop some resilience
Ryland Grace and his popularity as a character feels like such an important step in repairing the cultural tsunami left by the long running trope of every genius character needing to be an insufferable asshole to everyone in a ten mile radios about it.
Conversely, Eva Stratt is doing wonders for repairing and inspiring a appreciation for commanding women with dubious moral convictions who are fully willing to bend laws for the greater good without hesitation.
And together they are doing brilliant things by not kissing or hooking up even once.

The film The Housemaid was not as good as the book. I get that they needed more action for an on screen ending and I love a blood splashed protagonist but the changes fell short.
The number of deep cuts and slashing wounds left untreated for long periods of time probably would have been fatal for both Millie and Andrew. Also, Millie watching TV in the same bloodsoaked shirt was silly. She surely would have changed or at least we should have got a scene of her bandaging her wounds.
The sexy pajamas as ever-present costumes were annoying to me personally too. I would have liked to see this movie directed by a woman.
You’ve heard of the Roaring 20s........
now get ready for the Screaming 20s - coming to a decade near you in 2020
is it too early or can we start screaming now
in retrospect perhaps we should have started sooner
this post is the equivalent of a newspaper from the day of the outbreak being blown past by the wind after you wake up in a post apocalyptic world

Has anyone else compared The Housemaid to The Handmaid’s Tale?
They’re not very similar in plot but to me The Housemaid seems very much built on the skeleton of the Waterford household.
Maid/Handmaid lives in a small attic room and has to deal with the whims of the Winchesters/Waterfords ranging from chaotic to sadistic. There is a mysterious groundskeeper/driver who lives on the property and it’s unclear where his loyalties lie though he seems to try to help our protagonist.
Like, that’s it. There’s not much beyond that except I guess they both have a feminist plot addressing how men feel entitled to women. I do think I’m right though.
you have been bad friends to riz gukgak
just wanna put it out there that i’m about to graduate with a degree in (human-focused) biology and i still haven’t reached that level where they tell you there’s no such thing as a mammalian sex binary yet ://
