I absolutely hated God of War 2018. The axe combat was the most frustrating, tedious experience I've ever had with what was supposed to be an action game. On top of that, I genuinely hate when games map melee combat controls onto the trigger buttons. They aren't designed for that. Since the PS3/360 era they've been modified to not have the RESPONSIVENESS to fit that. I'll never replay the Nier games, thought-provoking as they were, because it'd mean putting up with that godawful controller binding all over again.
That being said, God of War: Laufey looks like a fucking Devil May Cry clone and I mean that as the highest possible praise.
This woman dies, gets back up, IMMEDIATELY does a 3-hit air combo with a random rusty sword she found on the floor, says "That should have been easier," and follows it up with a 6-hit air combo.
Once she gets access to a better sword and all her magic again, she starts pulling the kinda shit Nero was doing with his Devil Bringer arm in DMC4.
I think I have to play this one.

I just love (hatE) when I think I've slain the dragon knight, then suddenly the theme adds in some Latin chanting and he gets back up, and is somehow even stronger. But even then, when I turn my back after beheading him, just as I'm about to sheath my blade, the Latin chanting fades out into an electric guitar and THIS MOTHER FUCKER PICKS HIS HELMET UP OFF THE GROUND AND PUTS IT BACK ON. HEAD'S NOT EVEN IN THERE ANYMORE WHAT THE FUCK?
Anyone else experience anything like this?

Did you know that the target audience for Farming Simulator is actual real-world farmers? Because I didn’t. I just assumed that farmers probably don’t want to go home from a day of farming to do some (presumably highly inaccurate) virtual farming?
Like, imagine if the target audience for Power Washing Simulator was actual professional power washers.
Farming Sim gets sponsored by companies and shit to put ads in their games. But since the game is for farmers, all of the ads target farmers. Advertising products that, realistically, only farmers would be interested in. Aka John Deere tractors and shit.

My buddy who is a farmer has the type of planter that drives itself across the field using GPS at a steady speed, and he just needs to turn it around at the end of each row. He added a little folding desk to his chair and plays farming simulator on it while he plants.
