Tuesday’s Truth I just found out that a family close to me experienced the most gut wrenching loss imaginable. A loss that literally brings even the strongest of men to their knees. A loss my head can’t wrap around and I don’t ever want to know - the loss of a precious child. * When I heard the news my heart sank and I couldn’t understand what I was being told yet, I got myself together enough to call the family and that’s when I heard the pain tear through the voices that are usually laced with strength and energy.     * Each time I thought about it, I was taken back to a place of fear, thinking how I could have easily been in the same situation. My babies had complications too and had to stay in NICU. Although our situations weren’t to the same severity, we went through some of the same worries. * If you know anything about #NICU / #PICU cases, things can change so quickly in either direction. It’s a wicked feeling of helplessness; to not be able to help your child in their most vulnerable state.The emotional & mental toll it takes on you is straight up purgatory! * Any parent who has had or does have a child in the NICU/PICU understands the struggles of holding your breathe praying that you'll be able to take your baby home, happy and healthy. To have it all end in loss is beyond devastating. Please say a prayer for this family and their little angel as those close to the family encircle them with love and support. * S.I.P little 👼🏾, you’ve brought so much joy in your short time here.
