And once peace is restored, it's easy to imagine him asking questions like: What happened after Troy?, How did you escape the Cyclops?, Did you truly descend into Hades?

Odysseus, a man who loves telling stories, would probably be willing to recount his adventures, whether every detail was true or not. Telemachus could tell him of his own travels to Pylos and Sparta, and Penelope could describe her twenty years of waiting, the loom, and her quiet war against the suitors.

Together, they possess nearly every perspective The Odyssey contains.

And in turn, Phemius could have turn those memories into song.

Considering how it started as an oral tradition before being written down, the idea that Phemius organized his king's homecoming into an epic is truly, well, epic.
