Now i want to preface this by saying that ive seen some discourse about the movie being "underwhelming" and "not the backrooms" but it is and those people are referring to a group project similar to the scp wiki. This is not that. This is closer to the original image posted all those year ago. Theres no level slop or anything because thats a completely separate thing and i dont even consider that to be the backrooms.

Now this movie is definitely worth a watch, so please go watch it and dont be like the losers behind me who snuck in and wouldnt shut the fuck up until i told them to. Unfortunately my theater didnt have a poster or any marketing up so i dont have any cool pictures of anything only the end credits after people left bc im a good girl and i turn my phone off in the theatre.

The best way to describe the movie is not a movie about the backrooms. Its a movie that takes place in the backrooms. Its very character focused and its about how the backrooms affect the characters and i like that alot bc its not ooo le spooky.

It is accurately rated r so please keep that in mind. There is also a scene i imagine will be very controversial in the backrooms fandom but please just let it sit with you a bit. Like just give it a chance. I can already hear people bitching about it but if you think about it thru the lens of an actual backrooms enjoyer it serves a purpose and i feel like it opens up a lot of doors for the future series he hopefully will make bc oh my god i need more. Inject it into my veins. It might just be bc im autistic but like that movie gave me a high. And if you disliked the movie i want you to explain why. What about it was bad. Just because you didnt understand something doesnt make it bad. I dont understand a lot of popular media but that doesnt mean its bad bc i dont get it. Yknow?

Theres lots of twists and turns and shit i did NOT expect but thoroughly enjoyed. The only thing i will say is a few moments during a particular section at the early part confused me a bit and it somewhat ties into the controversial scene and the time line is a bit confusing for me but that could just be me not having connected dots yet.

I wore my captain clark shirt...i went at a rlly awkward time hoping to be the only one but other than the losers behind me there were people TAKING NOTES which was so fucking cool to see like oh my gosh.

Also ive decided to do a cool thing in my room and i think yall should too where we mark off our own null zones on the wall so we can have a little bit of the backrooms with us? Is that corny i dunno...

Also for people like me who arent good with loud jumpscares this movie is a very safe watch. Theres a few at the beginning but kane doesnt overdo it.

This probably seemed hella glazey but im being 100% honest. As someone who consumes media like hes made for hours and hours it really was good and i hope it comes to streaming soon so i can watch it on loop bc im very special the doctor told me so.
