AO3 SCAM

There's been a number of people reporting over on the AO3 subreddit that they're getting messages like this posted in the comments shortly after posting new fics.

The AO3 team are NEVER going to try and contact you about TOS violations via the comment section (or about anything else for that matter)

Don't click any links. Report the accounts involved (which might claim to be things like "LucySupport"), delete the message and move on.

I’ve started to spread some extra love on the internet, and you were nominated by inevitably-johnlocked to receive this. It is a header image for your page. 

I wanted to add allusions to different fandoms (the books), the flowers are forget-me-nots, to mean that writing lasts forever, and we will not forget what we cherish. The typewriter is for writing (clearly). AO3 mug because hey, fanwork is thirsty work. A pride flag because the community is so welcoming. A button saying “mentally writing fanfiction” and some open books, (it was supposed to be a list of tropes like ‘coffeeshop AU’ but I ran out of space). And the window is facing a retreat.
