i wouldnât think that trans activism wasnât that annoying if every time i come out as lesbian people wouldnât immediately make it about trans people. and âpeopleâ can literally be everyone: lgbtq+ people no matter if theyâre activists or not, trans activists no matter if lgbtq+ or not, âcisâ men no matter if they are leftists or not. i remember coming out as a lesbian to my gay friend and he asked me if i would date a trans woman. i talked to one of my âlesbianâ (atp i donât believe sheâs one of us lmao) university acquaintances that i would love to meet other lesbians in our university and she started talking about how she doesnât call lesbians women, but âpeopleâ to not exclude any trans people and she wanted created this kind of environment with me (she is an activist). i come out as a lesbian to a cis man who isnât âwokeâ at all and he asked if i would date *random man we both know* if he was a trans woman. he couldâve just asked me the same question without putting âtransâ before it. he also said that he would date a trans woman even though he says he is a 100% straight man (LMAO). like, even conservative men are grasping and accepting the concept of a man being a woman more than the idea of a woman being treated as a human being and not as an object or a concept. I WONDER WHY.
i am 100% sure that nobody would give the same energy towards gay men. so yeah, being an actual lesbian is still treated as some sort of disease but the saddest thing is that now it starts from the people that are supposed to be our allies.
The answer âAnyone who identifies as oneâ to the question âWhat is a woman?â is so dumb. What is a vegan? Anyone who identifies as one. What is an engineer? Anyone who identifies as one. What does it mean to be disabled? It means to identify as disabled. Like what kinda logic is that đ
"there is no way you're not using chatgpt for at least a few things here and there no matter your stance on it" what the FUCK are you talking about
âSee what happens when you donât prosecute people for questioning my ideology? WOMEN might LAUGH at us!!â
Whatâs that quote? Men are afraid women will laugh at them, women are afraid men will kill them?
see how in a country with free speech, people are allowed to speak freely? fucking horrible and hurts my fee-fees, put a stop to it now.

âThe concept of gender identity, in my opinion, is one of the worst intellectual scamsâ
A teacher, Luisa VelĂĄzquez Herrera, dismantles the myth of self-determination of sex:
âFor about 16 years, Iâve taught feminist courses and workshops, and I can assure you that no one manages to answer this exercise about these assumptions, no matter how much they defend men or how queer they are. I always concede the point before starting the example:
âOkay, letâs suppose that gender is a choice, thatâs what youâve said, right? That means we can stop being women.â âThey answer âyesâ with conviction.
âVery well, then letâs launch massive campaigns to encourage all women and all girls not to âperceiveâ or âidentifyâ as women.â If that puts an end to rape, femicide, the exploitation of girls and women in trafficking networks, in homes, and obstetric violence, we have the solution right under our noses⌠ââDoesnât that put an end to violence?
What?! So, gender isnât a voluntary choice? Donât we ask women what their gender is before assaulting them?â
âI swear that not a single queer person, right there in front of me, said never a word.â âI wait a few seconds, the last minute arrives, nothing, the silence persistsâŚ..â
âOkay⌠Iâll end the tension⌠feminism highlights this: patriarchal oppression isnât based on individually perceived identities, but on womenâs sexed bodies, and listen, itâs not because my body contains an âessenceâ of oppression, itâs because men chose violence and decided what women would be in the system they founded.â
Let's suppose, finallyâI say this to conclude the exampleâthat tomorrow everyone wakes up "non-binary," dresses androgynously, and shows creativity in their appearance; rest assured that in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, carrying babies, and suffering obstetric and sexual violence, we women will still be there. That is gender.

eye opener
these people genuinely will never be satisfied. is there ANY way to discuss biological sex that is politically correct to these people? literally is there a single way to describe the 2 sexes and their differences that is allowed?????
anyway hereâs one very smart and correct comment:
They really are just looking for reasons to be offended.
How do they expect them to describe this? AFAB might not always mean biologically female, but it does mean their external genitalia are female, which is the important part for what type of urinal to use. Whether you use a standing or squatting urinal is entirely dependent on your external genitalia. Unless these people piss out of their gender identity instead of their urethra?
Iâm going to be honest, this is probably the funniest thing a straight person has ever said
this is LITERALLY how people respond when you tell them bitch is a slur
there is a synonymizing of "butchness" with "mastectomies" happening in our current day and age that I find highly disturbing. I see butch representation photosets going around where almost all of the women have elective mastectomies. People in the notes find this aspect specifically inspiring.

The largest mass shooting in American history was a hate crime against gay people. Donât ever forget that.
June 12, 2016. Putting a date on this for when it gets reblogged months from now by people who think the post is about something from 30, 40 years ago.
I am a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting, having grown up in Orlando and just turned 20 a month prior. If you didnât know, there were several families who refused to claim the bodies of their relatives due to their sexuality. One family even had their relativeâs name removed from the memorial. Murdered by the same hate with which their families reject them in both life and death.
Many, many people celebrated Pulse. We were told we deserved it. That it was Godâs punishment for our sin of loving the same sex. We are sent messages like these I received in 2018:
We in the community often call the victim count 49+ to include the survivors who couldnât live with the pain.
The event was never officially declared a hate crime or targeted homophobic attack and is rarely listed as one in databases.
At our vigils for those slaughtered, Extremist Christian groups showed up to protest, holding signs like this:
ID: Me kissing a woman I was casually seeing in front of an angry looking man with a âSodomy is Sinâ sign.
Please understand how much more than just a mass shooting this was. We are still to this day harassed and told we deserved it by some.
This year was the sixth anniversary. The first couple years I received dozens of messages checking in on me on 6/12. Year 5 got enough news coverage for people to think to reach out to me. This year it was my therapist, the woman I kissed in that photo, and a couple of other gun violence survivor friends. People are forgetting already.
With the 7 year anniversary <2 weeks away, I figured Iâd reblog this
no, actually, i do not think it is regressive or silly or unwarranted to treat a body part that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 girls have been raped by as a repulsive violent weapon. penises are ugly and evil!
âThere is ZERO reason for [female-only] spaces to exist.â Okay.
What they meant to say was âthere is ZERO reason for female-only spaces to exist that I respect.â There are thousands of reasons for female-only spaces, they just do not respect or value those reasons.
if males aren't any more unsafe than females, then go be with the males. go in the male bathroom and locker room, and the male college dorm. you'll be safe, because amab bodies are not unsafe and you don't have trauma from amab bodies. tell the males in those spaces that they won't be better for excluding minorities.
My Disability Studies professor said something that I think was very good and explains a lot about professional attitudes toward people with disabilities. This is what she said:
âWe [people with disabilities] are the last thing on the HR discrimination list. Companies always list things like, âwe eliminate discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, nationality, identity⌠oh, and disability.â Itâs just tacked on at the end. The others are mostly about being nice, respectful, and treating people equally. Not discriminating against people with disabilities is more complicated. You need to change your environment, code, the way you design things. You actually need to make changes, and most companies do not want to do that.â
I thought this was a really good insight. Weâre often thought about last, if weâre thought about at all. Accommodating us takes effort and a lot of people just donât want to make the effort.
*terf makes a feminist post* "you people have nothing to talk about beside trans people" *terf posts about an interest she has* "why are there terfs in the fandom"

âwomen used to marry young and have a lot of childrenâ VS âmen used to marry women when they were still little girls and force them to be pregnant and give birth their whole lifeâ.
âin the past women didnât get educationâ VS âin the past, men stopped women from getting education and excluded them from all cultural spheresâ.
âmuslim women must wear hijabâ VS âmuslim men force muslim women wear hijabâ.
âin this country, abortion is illegalâ VS âmen in this country made women getting abortion illegalâ.
womenâs oppression doesnât happen by itself. womenâs oppression isnât passive. there is an oppressor class that actively chooses to oppress women, and the oppressor class is MEN.
