Missing Persons formed in LA in 1980, while working with Frank Zappa. The core of the band consisted of Dale Bozzio, Terry Bozzio, and Warren Cuccurullo. Their self-titled 7" 4-song debut EP, largely financed by Warren Cuccurullo's father, gained attention and led to a movie spot in "Lunchwagon" and a record deal with Capitol Records
