there’s this young australian woman who’s currently publicly beefing with sydney airport because they don’t have any coeliac safe restaurants so she made a tiktok about it and then sydney airport responded with their own tiktok listing all the gluten free options they have available except none of them were actually gluten free or coeliac safe. and i just want to say that sydney airport already has its own issues with keeping planes in the air where they should be so maybe they should shut the fuck up and also begin accomodating for life ruining food intolerances you selfish stupid FUCKS.

and there are so many people writing comments like “uhhhhh just bring your own FOOD? duhhhhh not everyone is beholden to your food restrictions it’s YOUR responsibility” and to those people i say I Hope You Develop A Life Altering Food Allergy Or Intolerance I Really Do. bringing your own homemade meals with you is not always feasible. what if you’re stuck in an airport due to a huge delay or a layover or whatever else and don’t have a packed lunch with you. there should be food options for EVERYONE available in a place like an AIRPORT. this is not a matter of being spoiled and making it everyone else’s problem. everyone should be able to eat?? i mean i feel like i’m going crazy. especially because travelling to or from australia takes SO FUCKING LONG. chances are you could bring a meal from home, eat it, and then land at another airport and need something to eat again only to realise you can’t because you’ll be poisoned. sydney airport i hope the people running your tiktok account get their passports stolen 💖
