With a flaky pastry crust and a tasty apple filling, these mini apple and honey tarts are the perfect mix of sweet and sour. They're good for a sweet snack or a fancy dessert.
Ingredients: 1 package puff pastry dough. 3 apples, peeled and diced. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 teaspoon cinnamon. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 egg, beaten for egg wash.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Roll out puff pastry dough and cut into small circles to fit mini tart pans. In a bowl, mix diced apples, honey, cinnamon, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Fill each tart shell with the apple mixture. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and apples are tender. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
