I wish the bbc show had more ralph. He didn’t get much screen time and a lot of his lines/moments were given to other characters. Winston sawyers was really good as ralph but i wish we got more…. sighhh !!!! Focusing on a different character each episode was interesting but i found myself missing ralph a lot, especially when his character was flattened a little bit? I didn’t like how ralph was the one rationalizing simon’s death while piggy knew what they actually did, that moment in the book added depth to them as characters and the show swapping the roles in that scene just made them feel one dimensional. And they just totally cut a lot of ralph’s characterization and moments 😢 i miss him

the queer allegory for simon in the bbc lord of the flies film is genuinely sickening.. like this is probably the best adaptation we will ever get of lord of the flies, and i love it!!
