okay so because of @calpernia-for-archon i associate marmila with tea and jam. that's not like, a dessert in itself, but it does mean i'd lean towards something like (i accept this is a left hand turn) halo halo because of the ube jam, preserved fruit and tapioca pearls (which always makes me think of tea bc of bubble tea). i also think the bringing together of a bunch of different elements and the tinkerer vibes of them works well. maybe i cooked with this.
