somewhat of a frogblog

the band of boobs are strapped for cash as per usual after their fall into c-list celebrities after saving bahumia, before they realize that a wedding is a great excuse for a bunch of people to come by and shower them w attention and gifts

(cue jokes abt bev being like “ohhh well if i Mustttt marry hardwon then i will take that bullet for the Team…..” before hardwon and moonshine quickly shut that down lol)

so they send out halfassed wedding invites that are badly misspelled dictated by pawpaw annotated with bev’s perfect cursive that dont even have an actual time or date or location, just the gift registry

but ren gets his hands on an invitation Somehow and shows up to be like “uhuhuhuh, what kind of sad pathetic poor people wedding is this?” and tells them abt some other huge celebrity wedding thats happening on the same day that everyone is going to be at

so the boobs briefly panic abt this before learning abt like some goofy set of macguffins from a bunch of different corners of bahumia/the planes that will guarantee an epic successful wedding. and so they go and collect them and fight whatever stands in their way, while also picking up miscellaneous supplies and people along the way

(they go and meet pendergreens in the one hells to be moonshine’s best man, lydia from the shadowfell to walk hardwon down the aisle (moonshine is like “hey maybe i could marry her instead👀”), the trisses to be a bunch of bridesmaids, et cetera)

finally they consider doing the ceremony in the stormborn but hardwon absolutely refuses to let them touch anything or clean anything up or decorate. so they just do it in a random muddy field in the crick somewhere, and string up a bunch of environmentally-unfriendly plastic decor and throw toxic glitter everywhere

when its time for vows, hardwon opens up a note from his pocket, goes “wait shit this is the letter whoops”, throws it out, and just does an improvised slam poem with pawpaw beatboxing in the background

moonshine’s vows are just her talking abt how good she is in bed while making eye contact with and winking at every triss in the audience

they dont kiss

there's so many open plot threads i forgot about! there's so much potential! and the vantasmo family dynamic is so much fun!! and oh my godddd i love emily as dungeon docent. she's so smart and funny and the mystery is so spooky and creative. truly one of my favorite d&d actual play productions EVER!
