"I detest the masculine point of view. I am bored by his heroism, virtue, and honour. I think the best these men can do is not talk about themselves anymore".
I feel this Virginia Woolf quote every time during literature or history class when it's yet again about a freedom loving freedom fighting heroic man who truly didn't consider women being apart of said freedom
can we kill Charlie kirk again that would just really cheer me up
idk which self identified queer needs to hear this but you're not radical for supporting kinks at pride and defending kinks in general. the porn industry wants you to support kinks. nightlife clubs and bars want you to support kinks. liberal newspapers, media and politicians want you to support kinks. sex toy and lingerie brands want you to support kinks. misogynists and pedophiles want you to support kinks. "oooh but what about the ppl (men) who get off thinking about raping women / punching women / strangling women / fucking children / fucking my sister / fucking my dog" is this really the kind of radical thinking you will bring to the revolution? get a grip and go volunteer at a shelter. oh my god

TIMs: ummm you know the penis isn’t an evil organ it’s actually a completely neutral body part that is no more likely to cause harm than any other body part and by acting like there’s some kind of inherent violence associated with penises you’re being super gross and bio-essentialist and transmisogynistic !!!!!!!
TIMs the second a woman angers them: suck my dick, gargle my balls, I’m gonna rape you with my girldick, you deserve to die choking on a transfem’s cock, etc etc
TIMs when they see any posts about uteruses, vaginas, or other female anatomy: “THIS IS A TERF DOGWHISTLE!”
"I asked chatgpt" well I opened the window and listened to the wild bird song. and the autumn leaves scrunkling in the trees. so there.
I fucking can’t stand liberals like I’d actually rather spend time with anyone else on earth or maybe just reasonable people who aren’t so far left they somehow went up their own ass, than go birding with these fuck ass annoying ass people. they also had a “birds against borders walk” like…… so you walking around looking at birds is ultimately gonna lead to america having… no borders? and your female bird day event is for… gender non conforming people and women and trans women ….? how about you remove you head from your ass and make a birding group that is focused on BIRDS!!!! are you all gathering in this group on your common interest in birds, or is this a political group where you’re gathering on your common interest in having a woke-off and out-liberaling each other? are bipoc moderate and conservative birders allowed to join or is this birding group only accepting of ultra liberals? so it’s not actually a birding group, it’s actually a political liberal group!
“we want to acknowledge the harm that we’ve done” none. you did no harm. having a female bird day event did no harm to literally any singular person on earth. I hate when people have no backbone and apologize when they’ve done nothing wrong. also they said they would keep the original post up for “accountability” (of course) but let themselves be bullied by a man into taking it down so I can’t see what the original post even said. but I can tell that these people are so woke you definitely can’t say anything around them without getting a condescending lecture about how “we don’t say that anymore”
oh and they’re all having a woke-off in the comments too, even the apology and new poster isn’t enough. eye roll eye roll eye roll. what happened to being normal and not hating people who are minorities but also not being so liberal and open minded that your brain falls out like genuinely where are normal people at who don’t immediately capitulate to every new “progressive” idea as it comes off the factory line and into instagram story infographics
Instance #10297272 of woman transitioning so she has permission to exist as a human being
Your brain doesn’t get tired from doing things, it gets tired from resisting things. When you’re doing nothing your mind starts overthinking and carrying the weight of all the things you’re avoiding. That’s why you feel so tired. It burns more mental energy than simply taking action
Do the thing
I want to add to this that the less you do, the more your brain starts to question your ability to do anything at all. Inaction slowly chips away at your confidence because you’re no longer proving to yourself that you can handle things. This is also true when someone else is doing everything for you like a partner or a parent. Momentum creates evidence. When you stop moving, that evidence disappears, and doubt fills the space. Over time, even simple tasks start to feel heavier than they actually are because you’ve trained your mind to hesitate instead of act
Avoidance creates doubt, and doubt creates more avoidance. The only way out is action, even in small doses

Tbh, when it comes to abortion, I really don’t give a shit about debating when life begins. I couldn’t care less about drawing the line between a “baby” and a “clump of cells”.
What I care about is bodily autonomy. Pregnancy causes major changes to a woman’s body, many of which are permanent. Giving birth is infamously painful and difficult. It’s not something that a woman should have to go through involuntarily. Bodily autonomy is where my personal feelings on abortion begin and end.
we gotta get back to torrent distribution, i just watched someone eat eight grand in bandwidth charges because they ran a direct-download piracy site with local file hosting through cloudflare. torrents were invented literally for this exact reason
torrents work like this
i have a file or folder on my pc that i want to share with other people. let's call it gayshit.mp3
unfortunately gayshit.mp3 is 750mb and im not paying for discord nitro so i need another way to send it
i put it into qbittorrent and it makes a torrent file. this is essentially a very small file that points to gayshit.mp3 so other computers can find it. kinda like a treasure map
i send this tiny file to my friend, who loads it into qbittorrent. their computer takes a moment to find mine over the vast expanse of cyberspace and then (as long as my pc is running and the file is still where it should be), it gets copied from my hard drive to theirs
this is the cool part: if somebody else loads that tiny file, they can download it from both of us. if i'm offline but my friend is on, the third person can still get it. this also means that if two people have separate halves of the file, they can download the other half from each other. as long as some combination of people have the pieces between them, they can all have the whole thing.
crucially this does not require a server!!! you can just upload the file to a few people and as long as they keep it, it's still accessible. as long as somebody, somewhere is still connected, it's available forever. the only way it goes away is if everybody disconnects from it.
please learn to torrent
An expert guide to get started using torrentsTorrents are one of the most popular forms of file sharing on the internet, accounting for over
always use qbittorrent, do not use bittorrent or utorrent.
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined

the actual pride month rundown
- marsha p. johnson repeatedly identified as a gay man and drag queen and survived into an era where the language did already exist if he chose to identify as transsexual. he explicitly stated that he was not transsexual and claimed that all transsexual people were also homosexual.
- sylvia rivera did identify as a transsexual woman (and made disparaging speeches about lesbians). she was not an ally to lesbians. lesbians and transwomen have not always been allies.
- neither of them were there when the stonewall riots began, according to marsha’s own testimony. sylvia was sleeping off a drug trip on a park bench, and by the time marsha arrived at stonewall, the riots were already in full swing.
- storme delarverie, a mixed black gender-nonconforming lesbian and drag king, may have been the one who incited the stonewall riots. she never identified as a transman despite surviving into an an era where the language was made accessible to do so. accounts differ as to who started the riots.
- stonewall was not a special haven for trans people and drag artists, it was just some bar where gay people met up. by all accounts, it wasn’t even a good bar.
- pride as a festival and parade was invented by gay men, lesbians, and bisexual people. fred sergeant is one of those gay men, and he has been beaten (in recent years, as an elderly man) by trans people and their allies due to his views on medical transition. non-homosexual trans people were unheard of in this era.
- this is just united states history, and not even the beginning of gay rights activism in the united states alone. the rest of the world didn’t necessarily base its gay rights activism on stonewall.
