Lance

Poor Lance. It took him ages to finish the job on Richard's work truck due to regular interruptions throughout. First it was Benji who insisted he pay him 40 bucks up front for one of two buzz cuts he would receive during the day. Then it was the photographer who hauled him off to various locations for heaps of snaps. To look at him one might think that Lance has an incredible sun tan. He does, but he also has a Latin American background, which helps. One interesting side note which Lance revealed today is that if he wants to remain clean shaven he needs to get out his razor twice a day. It's an inconvenience, he says, so often he doesn't bother, or otherwise he maintains a goatee. Lance still believes he hasn't a hope of making the top twenty at this late stage, plus he's pretty much a virgin when it comes to this kind of thing.

A sub feels the power of an Alpha in ways other people never will.

Most Men spend their lives fighting for control, trying to prove themselves, trying to be the loudest voice in the room. An Alpha has no need for any of that. His confidence is already established, and His strength is already known to Him...He doesn't seek power because He embodies it.

The difference is not that one male has value and the other does not... the difference lies in their nature. One is fulfilled by leading, and the other is fulfilled by following a worthy leader.

When a sub encounters a genuine Alpha, something deep inside him responds. The endless need to steer, control, and resist begins to fade. He can focus on serving a purpose greater than himself because he trusts the strength of the Man guiding the way.
