here's the actual thing for me about generative AI: if a person and a computer produced identical pieces of work, it's still not the same. it will never, ever be the same. that someone thought and felt and laboured over a piece of work, in itself, has meaning, and a computer cannot reproduce that. things are of interest to me because they are of interest to the person who made it.
