movie: backrooms (2026). the inevitable followup to last week. i was so brave and then it ended up being fine. it was not a good movie, but i don't think a vibes based movie is supposed to be good as a movie, but it is supposed to be good as a vibe and it did do that. there were multiple bits that made me (and only me) laugh out loud, and the experience concluded with wandering around highpoint for half an hour after close trying to find my car, which felt on point.

tv: clarkson's farm (s5, 1-4). the series that covers the period of time when i was in london and the tractor protests got between me and a donut; i was mad at the time, but i support them so much! i raced home from work with joy in my heart to watch it on wednesday night like it was appointment television and that's that on that. the pigs montage made me cry.

music: being dead. they feel like sitting in a dark living room in the middle of summer in 1997, and i like that a lot.

win: i finally got a perfect clues by sam, and am inordinately pleased with myself.

lol: 'rulette 2', game changer (dropout tv). sometimes i'm easy and sometimes something feels specifically crafted for me, but an extended bit about australian accents where the accents are done well? catered. to.

my eyes: dredge. i haven't finished it but 6+ hours of play yesterday has ruined my eyes.

there are no words for this: we all know the only podcast i actually listen to is (my good friends) nick and annie's sidetracked, but this week's episode entirely justified this life choice, when they interviewed horsegiirl and the sincerity with which they approached it led to a moment so insane i have not yet recovered.
